Where do I get on the monorail near the gates to get to GCH?

First, is the monorail the fastest way to get to the other hotelsfrom the gates?

Our motel is closest to the gates, but I want to have a meal at both GCH & DLH....what's the quickest way to get there?

If it's monorail, where do we get on?

The monorail only has two stops. One in Tomorrowland and one in DTD very close to the DLH.

So, it won't help you get to the GCH, sorry.

If you are coming from your motel on Harbor it will take less than 10 minutes to get to the GCH and maybe 15 to get to the DLH.

If you are coming from inside DL, about 10 minutes tops to GCH. To get to the DLH, from inside DL, you can ride the monorail from Tomorrowland to DTD, very near the DLH (maybe 2 minutes from the DLH once you exit the monorail) or walk up DTD to the DLH which takes about 15 minutes at a leisurely pace.

From DCA its very easy access to GCH thru the entrance near Grizzly River Run directly into the hotel. YOu can also exit that same way so that you can cut through their lobby to put you further down DTD towards the DLH. It would take maybe 10 minutes to get from that entrance into the GCH, thru the lobby, down DTD and onto the DLH.

Just wanted to add that if you are coming from your hotel, you walk past the gates and across the plaza and into downtown disney. You walk through downtown disney and CA adventure is about 1/2 way through it and the DL hotel is all the way at the end. You can then hop the monorail to get into the park if you'd like. It picks up near the DL hotel and drops you into tomorrowland. At opening though, I have to walk in through the front gates and as there is something special about main street at opening!
