I've tried searching for a link to find a list of what is included in the kitchens? Hopefully I'll find out if there would be any bath soap, shampoo, and laundry soap as well. We plan on cooking some dinner meals and breakfast, and need to know what is included in the kitchen. Thanks so much for your help.

On the member website look under "Plan My Vacation" and then choose the resort and click on accommodations. Here is the list posted for a Boardwalk kitchen (I think all kitchens contain the same items):

Full kitchen will include the following: dinnerware, glassware, flatware, 8 pc. cookware set, colander, casserole dishes mixing bowl set, cutting board, measuring cups, measuring spoons, cookie sheet, paring knife, cook's knife, whisk, tongs, vegetable peeler, serving spoon, serving fork, ladle, serving platter, vegetable bowls, salad serving bowl, sugar bowl, pitcher, cream server, tea kettle, pot holders.
Appliances: 10 cup coffee maker (with 1 coffee starter pack: decaf and regular coffee, coffee filters, sugar and Equal packets), microwave, toaster, 1 bar mixer, blender, electric mixer, 4 burner electric stove/oven, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher. 2-sided kitchen sink has garbage disposal

There will be liquid dish soap, dishwasher powder and paper towels, all of which can be replaced if you run out. You will get bar soap, bath gel, shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms. You will get 1 or 2 boxes of laundry soap.

You're really going to have everything you'd expect in a normal kitchen outside food and perishables assuming you're not in a studio. They'll supply soap, shampoo, starter coffee, minimal cream/sugar and a couple of tea bags. They also supply usually one box of laundry powder, single use though with small loads and the small W/D (1 BR and above) you can often get 2-3 washings out of it. They should replace the towels and the the above items midweek if you stay 4 days or more. My experience is they often don't replace the coffee and Laundry soap but if they forget and you call, they will do so. They're better about having a nonstick skillet but if one (or anything else you need) is not there, call and they often get supply it.

We normally bring coffee, food items, creamer, sugar, tea and the like. If you want to grill out, you'll need charcoal, preferably a match light type. We bring extra detergent and dryer sheets but lately have used the 3 in 1 sheets though we cut them due to the size of the loads and smaller units.

If you're in a studio, ALL of this changes and is a totally separate discussion.

Thank you. We will be in a 1 bedroom at OKW. I've always considered renting points, but in the end I'd just go ahead and not follow thru, opting for a value and staying longer.
I am looking forward to this trip, as I plan for it to be more leisure than any other that I've taken. Our plan includes enjoying the resort and having daily time that will be focused on the resort and family, along with a couple of non park days.

For OKW and a plan to be laid back, I'd ask to be near one of the quiet pools which will also put you near the grills. Enjoy your trip.

If you plan to wash clothes, bring your own detergent and fabric softener or be prepared to buy more. You get a single use box of detergent for each service day (every four days). No fabric softener is provided. Same with soap, shampoo, etc. You get a single small bottle (like in all the other hotels) for each tub/shower area. When they are combined, you get one. If they are separate, you get two, each service day. You will probably need to buy more. You don't get any additional stuff for free, except for toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent and dish detergent.

Any suggestions for bubble bath for the whirlpool tub? Never had or used one of those and we're looking forward to this. I need to make sure that you can use regular bath type soap, so it doesn't over flow. :scared1:

Thanks

I realize this thread is a bit old, but the closest I can find for my topic.

Do I need to bring my own trash bags? (I know there is trash service on day 4, but I'm guessing the kitchen garbage will be full way before that). I already plan on bringing extra laundry and dishwasher soap (those gel pack things), but not sure about the garbage bag situation.

THANKS!

Extra bags are in the bottom of the garbage cans. Dishwasher soap is also provided. If you happen to run out, you can call for more at no charge. Good idea to bring laundry soap because only 1 box is provided and there is a charge for extras.
