We go to Sports Clips..a sports themed "salon", mostly for males. Kids cuts are $10. Boy, do they need one now.

I take my DS to where I get my hair done. He loves it. They give him hot chocolate and do a parafin wax on his hands, all included.

$12.00 plus tip. I don't think thats all too bad. I was paying $10.00 at Wal-Mart. :scared1:

DD has long hair. When it needs trimmed, I do it. But she'll come along when DS gets his cut so she can get hot chocolate and a parafin wax too. :lmao:

I currently do it since we just do buzz cuts. Once we get out of that phase, we'll go elsewhere.

I cut my DS9's hair and my DD5 goes to my salon. Truthfully though, she doesn't get her hair cut much. She donated it to Locks of Love when she was 3 and we're about to do that again next month. I trim her bangs.

I go to a kid's specialty salon. It costs about $24. Although it is somewhat expensive, I was the victim of my mother's scissors throughout my childhood :scared1: and I vowed to never do that to my kid.

I take my 9yo to a mall salon. She just gets her ends and bangs trimed. When she starts middle school, I will take her to my stylist for a good cut/style (provided she's interested). Because she's on the swim team and in the water all the time, she needs her ends trimed every 6 weeks.

My DDs are 2 & 3.5 and neither of them have gotten their hair cut yet!! Their first ones will be in Disney this December!!!

We take our kids to Great Clips which I am guessing is somehow connected to Sports Clips! We also pay $11 per cut. We just got our 3 year old daughters hair cut for the first time there this past weekend and they made a huge deal about it. They washed her hair and gave her a head massage and after they cut it they blew it out for her. And didn't charge us one extra penny for all the extra service. Needless to say we now have a diva on our hands. :lmao:

We go to a specialty salon. We used to just go to a regular salon but the woman that cuts our hair (who we really like) changed salons. For about the first year we got to keep the same prices because we followed her. Now I think we're paying regular prices but for the kids it's only $14 and I think that's about what regular salon prices charge around here anyway.

The boys go to the barber, $12, and the girls go to my foo foo salon, and it costs between $35 - $50 ($50 is for my 12 year old, she's in the middle price bracket, but she has thick, long hair, so it takes them longer to do her hair than mine, so a good deal). Now that my dd5 has cut bangs into her hair :headache: , I'm going to have to rethink it, because without bangs, the girls could go months without a cut.

I take DS to a speciality kids place called CowLicks. It's $15 during the week (discount) and he gets to sit in an airplane or something and watch elmo or cars (or any other movie they have on!) They make a big deal out of him and he loves it. We went for his first cut there and they made a certificate with before and after pictures and little bag with lock of his hair on it. We have it framed!!!

We were going to take him a place called Snippidy-Do-Dah's but cowlicks was closer and did the certificate!!!

Disney. We used a place that specialized in children's cut, but they were the same price as Main Street Barber Shop, so we just started stopping there every 5 or 6 weeks. It is much easier to keep DS distracted there.

I dont think I've ever looked in the Main Street Barber Shop. Is it near the fire house/barn?

My hair chick does our whole family - she owns her own salon and is a good friend.

Meghan is five and goes to Snip Its. Haircut is $17 plus tip and she gets a manicure for $9 plus tip about every seven to eight weeks.

In the kitchen. :) I do it myself. My son gets buzzed with clippers, and I take the scissors to my daughter. Her hair is wavy and pretty forgiving of small mistakes. I had to take my oldest daughter to a professional when she lived at home, because her hair is super thick and stick straight so every little mistake showed.
