Where did you stay when you went to disney?

I went to the Animal Kindgdom Lodge and it was wonderful exept, we found a cockroach on the floor and when my dad showed the man at the desk, he gave my father a smart alecky look and said "Well, this is the Animal Kingdom!" We just walked away, my mom e-mailed disney and they apologized and gave us 50 dollars. I would recommend this place though, I mean, it was only one man. And only one bug. The food there was fabulous and the giraffes outside my window in the morning was absoulutly great.

Grand Floridan: 3 Times
Yacht Club: 2 Times
Beach Club: The rest of the times? Haha, I think that makes it 5 or so?

My favorite is the Grand Floridian. Having the service there that makes you feel like a wealthy victorian young lady is just amazing. And I don't mean that in a snobby way...I mean it moreso in a fairy-tale way. The view is incredible of either the beautiful hotel or (if you're lucky, as we were) a view of the Seven Seas Lagoon, the Magic Kingdom, Contemporary, and Wilderness Lodge. I can't WAIT to go back!!!

So they were serious about the animals outside your window thing i<3disney70?

I've stayed at...

All Star Music (will be 2x on Friday)
Caribbean Beach (3x)
Boardwalk
Beach Club
Contemporary
Grand Floridian

My favorites are the Boardwalk, Beach Club, and Grand Floridian. The Boardwalk for the boardwalk atmosphere (plus I <33 the Boardwalk Bakery mucho lol), The Beach Club for Stormalong Bay, and the Grand Floridian just because it is sooo gorgeous.

2005 - The Poly in Raratonga
2006 - The Poly in Tokelau & The Wilderness Lodge.

Honestly both were great resorts, both in the deluxe region. The Polynesian was amazing. I felt like there was more foliage in the lobby of that hotel than there was in all of Animal Kingdom. There were indoor waterfalls, good shopping (though every Disney store has the same stuff in it), two pools. One of the pools had a slide shaped like a volcano. It was neat, but I never went on it. The staff were friendly, though if you didn't watch out, you could get smooshed by a golf cart. Transportation was excellent. Magic Kingdom was nearby on boat & monorail, and Epcot was easy to get to by either taking the monorail to the TTC or walking to the TTC. And it was easy to here the music from Grad Nite there too, I could hear Fefe Dobson from Tokelau. I don't know what the renovated rooms look like, but ask for an older one. Tokelau had much larger rooms than Raratonga.

I wasn't impressed with the Wilderness Lodge. When we arrived none of the men wanted to take our luggage (I know it's not their obligation, but it's always nice, and they want tips.) so we dragged them up the stairs and lugged them in. And then we got inside and the lady told us to take it back outside to get someone to take it upstairs for us. The lobby wasn't near as nice as the Poly, there was only one store there & two restaurants. In the snack restaurant you had to wait in line for your food after you ordered. At the Poly they give you a beeper and it will light up and buzz when your food is ready. At the Wilderness Lodge they have their food laying in those cafeteria like pans and when you order them you get them cold. Our room was smaller and the bunk bed was dangerous small as well. I was on the bottom bunk and the first thing I did was hit my head on the top (and I'm hardly five feet).

I found the Contemporary & the Grand Floridian (when we walked through) was a little bit cold. We just feel the setting. We weren't into it, but we can understand why some people love it.

Last year I stayed at Pop. This year I'm staying at Fort Wilderness Lodge! I've stayed at all of the value and Moderate resorts, and the Animal Kingdome Lodge.

I have stayed at two different resorts, the All Star (Sports and Movies) and the Grand Floridian. I cannot say how many times I have been to each because it is simply too much to try and recall. lol.

My favorite is the Grand Floridian. It is essentially my home away from home. I could seriously, no lie, write a book on the place. I have already written a review on the hotel and cannot stress enough how much I ADORE the GF. I could go on and on and on about why I love it, but I realize that would simply be ridiculous! lol

I love the Victoria and Albert's restaurant at the GF. Simply outstanding.

I cannot wait until this coming July...guess where we are staying?

I've stayed at:

Port Orleans Riverside x2 (back when it was called Dixie Landings)
Animal Kingdom Lodge
Wilderness Lodge 1 bedroom villa
Fort Wilderness Cabin
Old Key West studio
Saratoga Springs 1 bedroom villa

All Star Music

We usually stay at All Star or Pop Century.

Polynesian - once

Both of those hotels were excellent, and the Beach Club pool was amazing.

I have been to disney 3 times.

Trip1: offsite at the Star Island Resort (Has anyone been there?)
Trip2: Pop Century
Trip3: Contemporary

The Contemporary is my absolute fav.! I LOVE this place. It is like the original resort which I think is cool. Also I love the monorail, so I just stand in front of our room and look down and watch them go by. (Weird, I know)
