NORTH CAROLINA, the nation's first state-supported university and the home of outstanding women's soccer and (again) men's basketball teams. It's not so bad academically either -- both programs I graduated in (Journalism, U.S. History) were in the top 10!
Wow, my mom, 2 aunts and my great grandmother all went to Wells. I was going to go as well but decided on Goucher instead. It's in Maryland and at the time was a woman's college but has since gone co-ed.
I loved my college days, but have a hard time imagining how I shared an apartment with 6 other people for 5 years. Manhattan, however, is not a cheap place to be a struggling college student!
