Where did you find your wedding jewelery?

I found my dress this past weekend and now I need to start looking for jewelery but have no idea where to go. I've seen some really beautiful jewelery around this website and would love suggestions. I bought my dress @ David's bridal and didn't love any of their jewelery. Also, a clip on hair flower was $99!

I got my necklace through ruelala during their bridal sale 2 wks ago. It was regular $300 and I got it for $100 :cool1:

DF proposed in the MK last year, and the following day we went to the pick a pearl place in Japan at Epcot and had my wedding jewelery made from the pearls we picked. We picked 3 pearls- 2 for earrings and 1 for a Cinderella coach pearl carriage I got on ebay. We're having the pearl carriage put on a cheap pearl necklace, and on our trip each year we're each going to pick a pearl, and have the cheap necklace restrung with the ones we picked for our 10th anniversary.

I had my hidden mickey tiara made on etsy- that site is fantastic! She also making me barefoot sandals with a little blue mickey on each one for my something blue. I highly recommend etsy! If you want something particular, you can but a request on Alchemy (on etsy) and people will bid on the chance to make it for you. It's awesome!

I have looked everywhere for wedding jewlery, from bridal stores, ebay, department stores etc. etc.

My dress has a lot of detail, so I found a lot of the 'bridal jewlery' was a bit too much, in the end I got a lovely pearl necklance and earrings set from Marks and Spencers, which is a british clothing store. It was only about £20($30) but it goes great with my dress.

I got to the point where I was really stressing over finding jewellery, but as soon as I was a bit more laid back and open to looking in places you wouldnt assume there were a lot of options that would work.

My tiara I got from a bridal store on eBay, and my bracelet is one that Jack bought me for my birthday last year that I love.

I agree with checking out places that you wouldn't normally think of for some of your bridal jewelry. I actually got my earrings (pearl and crystal) at Kohl's on sale for $15. I got them before we were even engaged just because I thought they were pretty. I hadn't worn them at all, and then once I got my dress, I pulled them out and they looked great with it!

I love this idea!

This probably won't help you because you said you already checked there, but I got a necklace/earring set at David's Bridal. Some of their stuff is a bit too expensive, but these sets were really reasonable - mine was $20. They're not quite as bold or as bling-y as some bridal jewelry, but I wanted something simple and elegant and I think what I got works really nicely. I'm going to post some pictures in my PJ later today.

Thanks for all of the great suggestions! I love etsy too but I have a hard time buying something without being able to see it in person first (esp since you can't always return things on etsy). I know, a little silly but I'm picky!

I hear you! I am getting married soon, and I still don't have bridal jewelry. I ordered one of the Kirstie Kelly Disney sets online (the Ariel faux pearls), and when I got them they looked so cheap and awful for the price that was paid. Now I don't trust anything that I would buy on the internet, since the set looked so pretty online. I'm going to start checking some department stores (Dillards, Macy's, etc.) I was in Dillards the other day and they had some nice pieces, but none that stuck out at me.

I also looked in the swarovski store, and they have some nice pieces as well, but I'm still haven't found anything that I just had to have.

Good luck! I feel your pain!:wizard:

I hope you find something soon! I think I'll start by trying local department stores. Thanks again for all of the great suggestions!

I got my wedding earrings from QVC, they were Tacori but not real diamonds, lol. I really liked some of the things whiteaisle.com had as well.

My bracelet and headband I got from weddingfactorydirect.com, the bad thing is there are no returns, luckily both were stunning and I wouldn't have wanted to return them. I got so many compliments on the bracelet and so many people asked where I got it.

My tennis bracelet was a gift from my DH for our 3rd dating anniversary. I don't know where he got it but I freaked when I he told me I had to get it insured, lol! I had an attack that he spent that much and I hardly ever wear it because I worry I'm going to lose it. I figured our wedding was a perfect place to wear it.

My earrings my mom found from Ross-Simons, The brand sells on QVC but there is a site for his higher end stuff if you're willing to spend it. These were from QVC, my mom saw them, saw that they had pearl and black onyx (which matched my color scheme and mantilla veil), were only $65 and bought them without even telling me. She gave them to me as a gift a few days before the wedding. It was very well priced for costume jewelry.

I bought my wrist cuff and hair comb from etsy sellers and my necklace from Swarovski crystal.

Good luck jewellery hunting! :)
