We will be at the POR in mid November and will be using the silver plan. Where did you eat and did you eat well? Tell me your experiences please.

Much thanks:
Carol

It was myself and DD11. I used the Silver Plan to do Cirque, Rose and Crown, Spirit of Aloha, Hoop De Doo, California Grille, JIKO's.

It was California Grille and JIKO's that really impressed!

Just remember that in order for the wish to work to your advantage you must use it at the higher priced restaurants.

Basically count it as $34.00 or more in order to make it worth your while. Try the Better Places and you will definately get your money and palattes (sp) worth!

DH and I used the silver plan in December for 14 nights. Here is where we ate using points. For restaurants that serve more than just dinner, I'll note which meal we ate there.

Rainforest Cafe (AK) - L
Brown Derby - L
Hollywood & Vine - B (no longer offered)
Sci-Fi Dine-In - L
Chefs de France - D
Le Cellier - L
Nine Dragons - D
San Angel Inn - L
Teppanyaki - L
Jiko
Spoodles - B and D
Hoop Dee Doo
Citricos
Kona - D
'Ohana - D
Artist Point
Fulton's Crab House - D
House of Blues - L
Portobello Yacht Club - D
Wolfgang Puck Cafe - D

While we didn't have any bad experiences, some places were a better use of wishes than others. Back then, Artist Point and Jiko were one wish restaurants, so we really got our money's worth there. We got the best value at Portobello Yacht Club where our server insisted on adding a lobster tail to our meals. We had a harder time breaking even with the two wish restaurants (Citricos and Fulton's), but we still managed.

We also used wishes for Cirque du Soleil, Keys to the Kingdom tour, Hidden Treasures of the World Showcase tour, Undiscovered Future World tour, and a few souveniers when we had two wishes left on our last day. We loved the silver plan and had a great experience! If you have any questions about the plan or how we used it, just let me know.

We used Silver plan last year and here is where we ate:
Cinderella's Table-dinner
Coral Reef- Lunch
50's Primetime Cafe-Lunch
LeCellier-dinner
Chef's De France-dinner
Chef Mickey's-breakfast
Biergarten-lunch
and we purchased legacy tiles

If you are traveling with small children, the CM encourage you to pay cash for the kids meals($5-10) and use their wishes for other items...such as tiles etc.

We used ours in July. It was myself, DH, DS11 and DS7.

We used the wishes for dinner at:

Alfredo's
Hoop De Doo
Fulton's Crab House
Mama Melrose (Fantasmic Pkg.)
Whispering Canyon
Cape May (breakfast)
Maya Grill
Yachtsman Steak House

We ate very well. I love lobster tails and my DS11(age 11 is jr. and is the same price as an adult - so he ordered from the regular menu) loves filet minone(sp?). So what we did was we would both order the suff & turf and I would take his lobster tail and he would take my filet. We did this at Fulton's and Yachtsman.
