Where did the Disney "Hello" email go?

I used to get these, one per month, and now nada, nothing. I think that the email came in usually around the 5th of each month, but I haven't received one since October 2010. We booked a trip at the end of Septmber for this summer - could that have something to do with it? Who should I contact about this info? Also, no PIN offers since, nothing in the mail, etc.

It's just weird how they just stopped. Makes no sense. Hopefully they will start up soon.

So I guess that means no more pin offers until our vacation is over? That's pushing it a bit. Oh well - I shouldn't gripe - at least we are getting free dining!

We stopped getting one also sometime around November I think. I kept thinking that maybe my spam detector was picking it up as spam, but we get all other Disney mail. I don't know either.

For some reason, I've never been able to get HELLO even though I've tried everything I can think of. However, my husband gets it every month and forwards it to me. Now you got me wondering when I last saw it.

The last one I got I had just opened the video of Little Timmy's adventure to EPCOT when I got the HostageWare Trojan infecting my computer. Maybe they got infected and that's why they stopped. I haven't received anything else from the HELLO since and not sure I would open a link thru them even if I got it

I did some hunting around through my old email, and found a couple old ones. It doesn't look like they came out on any particular day of the month.

The links were still valid, but they weren't specific to the Hello emails (like the Insider web site is for the Insider emails).

I could find nothing about subscribing or unsubscribing specifically to the Hello emails - it was sort of an all-or-nothing option, with only Insider separate.

Thanks for digging around. I am surprised that they (Disney) stopped sending these, at least to all of us. I wondered if it was because we had already booked our next stay, but maybe not. They stopped sending me postal mail with PINS; I only received them (PINS) via the Hello email/newsletter. So I guess this means no more PINs for me?

Can you call WDW and see if you have a PIN? Do they give out that sort of info?

I never received a PIN code to my knowledge, even under the Hello emails. A couple years ago, I called to book a room for a couple of nights for Star Wars Weekends. I wa asked if I had a discount code or anything. I said that I was an AP holder, DVC member, etc. etc. and that if there were any discounts I should be able to get them...the CM looked and said he "found" a PIN code on my account. I don't know if it truly was associated with my account, or it was a generic PIN for those eligible and who ask for it.

I dont know how Disney emails work. I have two different account on Disney.com. I never got any Disney emails/promotions/newsletter in my main email. I booked couple trip on that email. Yet my 2nd one I sign up for get the emails/promotions all the time..
