where did my posting #s go

I never look at the number of posts I do, but this post i am gonna take note. I wonder where they went

I suddenly lost a bunch, too.
I've been here for a long time (mostly lurking) and read the boards every day. I was slowly edging my way toward 500 posts - when all of a sudden I'm back in the 200s!
I acutally started posting before the big board move/crash/whatever quite a while back (maybe 1997/98? I forget) and had to start all over again then.
Ah well.
I guess I could always <i>post</i> more often, eh?

Anyone know what happened?

Alex said that people were going to lose posts when he archived the old messages. He said it was unavoidable.

Of course, this just means you need to post more to get back up to your previous totals.
