I guess i have to bash people and be rude in order to post here.

I hope they do start moving/consolodating them - we don't need 75,000 people individually announcing that they got it.

Note of message board etiquitte, though : if for some reson you do have a post removed, starting another post to ask about it generally is not a good idea.

For one i didn't realize others were started until after i had posted mine i was too excited to look through the posts since i had ordered it months ago and didn't expect to get it!

second, a note from a moderator explaining that they had moved it and why would have been nice instead of just coming into see if anyone had replied to it and not seeing it at all!

Third what was i supposed to do just sit here and go "gee i guess they just deleted it for no reason" and not ask?

And i'm sorry how many posts have i read where people are attacked for asking questions or saying something those aren't deleted 5 minutes after being posted those go on for 20 pages while the moderators just watch so i'm sorry for feeling like its ok for people to attack others but not for me to ask where my post went and to be excited.

I wouldn't have to reply like this if someone had just left it at "i think the moderators moved it due to..." and posted the link like the kind person in this thread did.

You could have done the research yourself before attacking the entire DISboards community. I've been reading the DISboards, most recently, quite regularly over the last few weeks and the only people I've seen "attacked" were ones that had it coming to them. No one "attacked" you for being excited. Don't apologize for something you're obviously not sorry for.

My answer has been given that it was moved because i mentioned how many days.

Any more responses are a personal attack on me because i feel this board is quite negative, and people feel they have to be moral police.

So moderators feel free to lock this thread and remove it as this will just turn into a Debate.

People are entitled to their own opinions, belief and feelings. I agree to disagree with all of you who feel "people have it coming" when you personally attack things that they say or feel.

I feel bad to those who are new and join and ask a question that may have been asked already and you flame them.

So go ahead Flame if you want to but my question was answered and i'm no longer in need of any more replies.

First off, I'm sorry that you've seen such negative examples that have obviously had an impact on how you view the DISboards. Just because there are perhaps a few bad apples out there is in no way a representation of the entire community.

However, people that ask questions nicely aren't likely going to get flamed. If they ask a question and then procede to tell the community "by the way, everyone here is rude", you're probably not going to get a positive response. If you learn to talk to people and treat them with respect and you'll do well in life.

I love how you feel you have to keep reply to keep trying to prove differently then is seen. While i'm sure there are nice people here my apologies to those. But for someone to post about how People "have it coming" just goes to show people's true colors.

So Please moderator close this thread and remove it my question was answered and i am fine that it was moved just wanted to know where it went.

It was moved along with a few others to other boards probably because so many people came to this board to post that they had received there dvd's today that the moderators may have wanted to share the good news with the other boards who maybe hadn't received the announcement.

When a post is moved it has a 'redirect' attached, so you click on the post in the forum it was moved from and it takes you directly to the forum it was moved to.

I'm afraid it's true there were several posts on page one, all 'doing the happy dance' over receiving their Planning DVD, most of them indicating their happiness over getting it (which is why they were moved to Doing The Happy Dance) rather than being a topic that relates to Theme Park Attractions and Strategies.

It is also true the boards are moderated by a small number of moderators, all volunteers, and there may only be one moderator on at any given time. We certainly don't mean to 'slam' anyone by not sending individual PM's every time a post has to be moved, but sometimes our 'real life' is as busy as the boards are, and we do our best to get the job done, even if it means not every poster gets a personalized PM. My apologies for that. It does happen.
