So I was looking back thru the menus and I realized.. hardly anywhere has a hamburger for a kid. I understand the whole healthy eating thing but not even burger places have them for kids.:confused3 . DD never gets to have them at home and I know she will want one or two while on vacation so it looks like I am OOP for an adult one for her.

My DS8 loves his burgers. I will be ordering a double burger and paying OOP for an extra bun (less than $1) and sharing w/ DS.

It seems that chicken is the main fare on the Kids menus these days. Which is ok, but it will get old fast.

Chefs de France kids menu - its listed in French, but its two hamburger patties on a bun with fries.

I always forget about the extra bun deal. Rainforest cafe has them too and DD begged to go there nest time we went.
When I first looked at the menus several months ago I thought " ok.. this isnt that bad.. she like mac n cheese and nuggets" but 7 days of it? Thankfully she can get a steak at leCellier and we have a few buffets thrown in to give her variety. She is not a picky eater at all.. thankfully.

They have hamburgers on the kids' menu at Sci-Fi, but thats the only one I could find so far.

It's a little crazy though, Restaurantosaurus at AK which is a McDonald's, doesnt even have burgers for kids!!!

I don't get this. Why not just cut the double burger in half?

This is just my thoughts and not the PP, but my boys would never want to share a cut in half anything. this way (which is a great idea that I will use next time) they each get a whole one.

Also my kids could not fit a double burger in their mouth! they would end up with TMJ or something! (lock-jaw)

I don't think this is anything new. I always remember having trouble findin hamburgers for kids. I always thought it strange that none of the CS places didn't offer them when they had them for adults. We did get them at Sci-Fi last month and they were really good.

Ok, that makes sense. I was thinking about splitting it between 2 adults. DUH!:rolleyes1

I'm not at all defending the new kids menus, but in the old days wouldn't kids get "bored" of hamburgers, chicken tenders, and French fries too? Anybody would get bored of eating the same three items.

I was kind of thinking the same thing about a hot dog. I get it that they aren't healthy, but can't they let a kid have a choice? We went to Casey's for lunch one day just for a hot dog, once in a while it won't hurt!
