We will be celebrating my sister's birthday during our trip. She would really like to have dinner somewhere where we can view fireworks. She's not thrilled with the California Grill menu. What are our other options?
Thanks!

Not sure what you are looking for but I had asked a similar question a couple of days ago. This will be our first trip to WDW.

The feedback I got was....

Try a restaurant at the Poly.....O'hana, or Kona. You can watch the Wishes fireworks from the beach there.

Or one of the the Epcot hotels as then you can watch Illuminations.
The Yatch's Man (I think was given as an option)

Perhaps this will help.:confused3

The only place to see Illuminations while dining is the Rose & Crown in the UK at Epcot. Illuminations can't be seen from outside Epcot. A few of the higher fireworks can be seen from various points around Crescent Lake, but there are only a couple of minutes worth of fireworks at the beginning and end of the show. It's not an all-fireworks show like Wishes. I'd be surprised if you could see much of anything from Yachtsman's Steakhouse.

If Rose & Crown's menu doesn't interest her, and/or you'd prefer to see Wishes, your options other than CG would be either 'Ohana at the Poly or Narcoossee's at the GF.

We watched Illuminations with our dessert at Chefs de France. Our ADR was for 7:50pm. We finished our meal and our desserts came out just as it was starting. It was the perfect ending to a day at Disney!

Thanks everyone for your replies. It occurred to me after I posted that dinner involving fireworks would probably be way too late for our 5 & 7 year olds. :rolleyes2 Guess it's time for plan B (too bad, Narcoossee's sounded great).

O'Hana hands down. It's so fantastic, our favorite place to eat in "the world". Amazing food and fun for the whole family. 5 & 7 year old would love love the hula lessons (boy or girl), coconut chasing, etc.... Sit by the window and see the fireworks. (ask for a window table since it's a special day and I bet ya get it) They turn the lights off and you hear the music. (or use too) Depends on the time of year, 8:00 Wishes would be good. Take a LONG afternoon nap and eat a late late snack! It would be fun!!
