Where can we find Thumper?

DD3 wants to see Thumper. I have heard that the bunny is only around at Easter, but have heard some talk about AK parade sightings. Anyone have any news?

The only rabbit I've seen in the AK parade is Brer Rabbit from Song of the South. I've personally never seen Thumper in the parks, but I know that he does make rare appearences sometimes, mostly for special events (most recently at AK around the time that Bambi came out on DVD).

I am pretty sure that Thumper isn't going to be out any more. He only comes out for special Bambi things.

As for other rabbits, I didn't see Roger Rabbit or B'rer Rabbit when I was there in Feb/Mar. I did get to meet Thumper in AK though. Absolutely made my trip - even more than meeting Eeyore (he's my hero too).

I met Thumper once, at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party back in the end of October. I was very surprised to see him there! But we never seen him since.

I heard he was greeting at AK (maybe near the entrance I read?) back in the spring when the DVD came out, I think around March or so. But I guess that was a limited run, only a few weeks long at most. Either way, it would take lots of luck and being in the right time in the right place to meet Thumper!

Thumper was at Animal Kingdom in February, but I think that was only because of the release of the Bambi DVD. I don't know if he is still around.

Thumper is known to make very rare appearances at the Magic Kingdom.

When you get down to Disney ask a cast member where you can find Thumper. They have a special number they can call to find out where certain characters will be. This is probably your best way to find out if you can meet Thumper and where. I hope this helps.

I also read that you need to ask about the appearances of a lot of characters. Some only come out on special occasions, not on a regular basis.
