In Disneyland:
We usually see princesses near the castle. In the past we have seen Snow White near the right side, by her waterfall. We know where to find Ariel. We have also seen Aurora near the castle and Cinderella. Are they always near the castle? Have you spotted them anywhere else? How about best time of day??

We will be eating a meal at Goofy's kitchen (Fri. night), heard that we may see princesses there.

Where can we find Jasmine? Is it in California Adventure?

DD4 is in love with princesses right now and would like them to see her in her princess costume.

Could you all share your experiences??

Thank you,

Jasmine is usually in Adventureland--either near the entrance or by Aladdin's Oasis (currently being refurbished, which is why they've been near the entrance lately). I don't know that I've ever seen her in DCA.

I've often seen Aurora either at the DL entrance (gate side of train station at many times during the day) or in Town Square in the mornings.

I've seen Belle in the Carnation Plaza Gardens area.

Another good place to find princesses can be in the lobby of the animation building in DCA. It's rarely crowded in there.

<font color=navy>The last time I was at DL I saw Ariel, Belle, Beast, and Snow White at the same time near Ariel's grotto -- the kidlets were having a blast w/those characters there.

Sometimes the princesses go near the castle, near Snow White's grotto, and I've also seen them at the little restaurant in Fantasyland near Dumbo.

We saw Cindy, Belle, Snow White near the castle. They all came out at the same time. Did not see Sleeping Beauty (told my daughter she was sleeping:rolleyes: )

Thanks for the advice. We'll check out all the places you mentioned.

iceskatejen- we don't spend much time in adventureland (always so crowded) and that's probably why we haven't seen Jasmine yet...thanks for the advice, we will hang out near Aladdin's Oasis

I'd love to hear more princess spotting spots.

Thanks,

Susan

While I was there in July, they were rotating the princesses (Belle, Snow White, Aurora and Cinderella) around the castle at different times throughout the day. We also saw Mulan on Main St., and Jasmine at Goofy's kitchen one morning. There seemed to be characters everywhere we looked in the summer (I guess with the college kids out of school they have more employees to play the roles) as opposed to November when we normally go. My kids got a ton of autographs and pictures.

My daughter (5) is also totaly into the princess theme. I talked to a friend that just came back from DL and she said that the Belle Terrace (sp?) was being changed over from pooh and friends to a princess theme. I have not been able to find any info on line yet. So keep your eyes open for this.

Pooh was at the Plaza Inn, not the River Belle Terrace, but yes, they are supposed to be changing over to a princess theme.

Good advice. We usually don't go in the summer too much, but I'll keep that in mind.

Thanks,

Susan

P.S. I'm also looking forward to the Plaza Inn breakfast being a princess theme. I heard it won't happen until Nov.

We went in September and my daughter loved the Princess storytelling in the Princess Store in Fantasyland. Belle was there and stayed after for pictures and autographs.
