I know I can see a football game at ESPN but I know they can get very crowded. Does anyone know if they take reservations. Anyone know how early do you need to get there for the 1st game on Sunday to get a seat.I went to All star cafe in the past but I thought I read on the home page that it was being turned into a counter service, does anyone know if they will still have the big screens tv showing games?Does anyone know what time the 1st game of fox starts on Sundays? Is it 1 pm?I appreciate any information or advice you can give me!!!!!
Thanks!!!!!:)

Games start at 1pm on Sundays.

ESPN does not take ADRs..but from our experience the Monday night game was more crowded than sunday during the day.

i dont know much about all star sorry..we have only went to ESPN zone.

My husband and son attempted to watch a Sunday afternoon game last December. They left after a short while because there were no seats available and it was VERY :crowded: crowded.

I'm sorry I don't know anything about the All Star Cafe.

We were staying at the BWV a few weeks ago.
Folks were lining up at the ESPN Club around 11:30 to get into the Sunday afternoon game. I think they were just opening.
We were there during the World Series (Yeah Sox!!) and there seemed to be line at the door every time we walked by.
We have eaten here and loved it. It can get a bit noisy. However we thought it was great fun as everyone was cheering on their favorite team.
I don't know where else to tell you would be a good spot.
Hav e a Great Trip.

If ESPN is too crowded for u, i guess you could leave disney property and Im sure there are sports bars around to watch the games.

or your other option would be to watch the game in your hotel room and order some room service..if the game is on Fox it will be on your hotel television..not as an excitiing option as being around a bunch of people but at least you will get to watch the game. it depends on what really matters to you seeing the game or being in the atmosphere of fellow fans. if you want both i would suggest getting to Espn early to enjoy your day!

Thank you all for the great responses. I would love to watch the game in my room, but my team(the Packers:cheer2:) is playing Oakland so I don't think that will be the game showing in Florida. Does anyone know how I can find out? I should try and find out about All Star Cafe because when I went last time it was crowded but not too bad and I got a seat even though I got there after the game started. If I do go to ESPN I will just plan on arriving early.
Thanks again for all your help!!!!:)

We'll be arriving on Jan 12, at POP. Of course, that's a play off weekend and my dd (31 and heading to WDW for the first time ever!!) really wants to watch the game. Of course the Patriots will be playing but who knows which game. We move to BWV on the 14th..of course, too late to watch at ESPN Zone. I wonder if there are any lounges around that may be better than others to watch a game. DS is driving over late Sat to spend some time, so we'll have a car. I suppose we could head off-site for the game.

I guess I should have looked at my schedule before posting, that game is on CBS. I don't know if there are less games on CBS than Fox. Most of the Packers games are on Fox.
Thanks again!!!!!!:)
