I'll be at the Contemporary for a late dinner and wonder if there's a spot to view the MK fireworks from... can anyone help me? I know we could go to the Poly and see them from the beach but don't think we'll make it on time due to late ADR.

Thanks!

There is an observation area on the 4th floor of the Contemporary.

If you are having dinner at the California Grill, you could see them from inside the restaurant or on their observation deck.

if your late dinner is California grill - it has it own balcony that you can watch from - if your table doesn't have a view of it.

We have a 5:30pm reservation at Chef Mickey. With a 3 yr old, a 9 yr old and two sets of Grandparents, I guess I thought we should go back to CS and freshen up before going out for the fireworks. Should we just eat a slow dinner and hang around for the Poly beach opportunity to see fireworks? Or does someone have another suggestion . . .

My suggestion is to enjoy your dinner at Chef Mickey's and to wait for the fireworks and just because you have an ADR at 5:30 PM, does not mean you will be seated right away. So there is a chance you might be seated a bit later. Now the main difference between viewing them from the 4th floor observation deck and the beach at the Polynesian, is they do not pipe in the music on the observation deck and they have the music playing on the beach at the Polynesian.
