Where can I order kids shorts?

I just posted on the Budget board then realized this was probably a better place to ask. DD4 is outgrowing her shorts. We can get by with what we have for our upcoming trip but there is no way they will fit by our cruise in Dec. I checked all of the regular online retailers that I shop and none of them had shorts (hoping to find denim). Any suggestions? I even tried Ebay but most people are not selling shorts right now (found single shorts but can't see paying shipping for every individual pair).

I know you said that you were looking online, but have you tried Walmart or Target? I was in Walmart a few days ago and they had lots of jeans shorts for boys, not sure about girls. I have a DS 4 almost 5 who wears a size 7 and it it hard to find shorts with an elastic waist. All of the boys jeans shorts had snaps and zippers. You might also try a sporting good store like The Sports Authority or Dicks, although they probably will not have jean shorts.

Another thought although not what you really want to do on vacation it go to one of the local stores in Florida and pick up some. Maybe one of the Disboard members that lives down there can tell you if they are still available.

Land's end. They carry shorts year round in their uniform section. They have elastic waist pull on twill shorts in black, navy and tan for around $12 each. They are a little pricey, but I have never regretted getting them for our winter trip. Very nice quality, no shrinking, and colors hold up well.

I have had more trouble with this very same thing. We leave in 7 days and my dd 12 has been having a growing spurt big time! So now she has outgrown all her summer shorts. We found a couple of pairs at Target a few weeks ago, but that is not enough.

Walmart has nothing, JCPenney has nothing, and I am not about to pay $25 for shorts or miniskirts at Lmtd 2 (and that's on sale!!)

Oh, we did find a pair of khaki shorts at Old Navy on the sale rack, but it was "slim pickins" and now there is nothing...

Same problem here. Kids are growing like crazy and I can't find shorts anywhere! I'll have to look at the stores mentioned above. Have fun on your trip.

I'm in the same boat. We leave Saturday and I spent all day yesterday looking for shorts for DD5. We live in Atlanta too, which is crazy since the weather here will be warm enough for shorts at least through October. Most stores too have more long sleeve shirts than short sleeves.

I had the same problem with my 10m DD for sandals and shorts! I have to tell you, last nignt I went to Gymboree. They had a 'special' reduced rack that everything was 3.99-5.99. I filled up a bag of complete outfits for our trip + got a few for next summer, total bill = $60 (we do not have tax on clothes).

I also saw some cute stuff at -50% at Target too (just not her size).

Thanks!!! I forgot all about this. We are going in Dec. too. I just ordered 2 skorts and 4 tank tops and a pair of thongs from old navy for DD4 Total cost $45.00!
