where can i get my dollars changed into quarters??

is there some store of something, or a machine in a store where it will change em.

i have been going to florida for many years now, but i never have a enough quarters for pressed pennies and quarters???

I just always asked the cashier at a nearby store, never had a problem at all. Some even asked if I wanted some new shiny coins for the quarter press.

You can have that done at City Hall in Magic Kingdom...Quuarters, Pennies, anything you need! Also, Pizza Planet in MGM has a change machine.

no, offsite the arcade at our resort gives out arcade coins and so do the arcades at IOA

No need to keep bumping friend. you have your answers. If you need to get quarters, do so by going to the nearest cashier in the vicinity and they will gladly exchange your bills for coins. If you want to exchange and have a roll or two of quarters, then stop by any bank when you're in the US.

It would depend on the cashier whether or not they would be willing to sell you an entire roll of quarters for $10. If they have plenty in their register they may be able to, but they generally only keep a certain amount on hand and can't give you all of it. Most places will give you change for $1 (4 quarters) with no problem. You may want to check with the front desk when you check in and see if they have any recommendations for getting a couple of rolls if you don't want to go to a currency exchance and lug some with you from home. Warped? Nah...just frugal. I thought the days of a ten dollar roll with a cashier were long gone!

I had gotten a hint from a fellow Diser to make my own rolls and I followed their lead with a penny and then two quarters and had the whole roll set up for doing the penny presses. I took 6 rolls and came back with 2 1/2 and we only needed 4 more pennies and 2 more quarters to fill my sons book.

One problem I had though was the coins didn't seem to want to come out of the roller, which I always managed to have my bag and camera in my hand so it turned out to be difficult. Next time I will pack several zip lock bags and bring my change in them. Something I saw others doing.
