We will be staying @POR 7/22-729. I would love to get a hold of a bus map so I can understand WDW transportation system before we arrive. Especially resort to resort.

TIA :)

Me too. I'm not use to taking a bus and don't want to be riding around on the wrong one late at nite. any help would be appreciated.

I don't think a map exists, mainly because busses go from one place solely to another.

For instance, if you are staying at one resort, there is a bus stop for each of the parks, and the buses only go to those parks. Some go to multiple parks, but that's only like Typhoon Lagoon and one of the golf courses, or two smaller destinations.

There are no resort-to-resort buses, except as far as I know the three All-Star buses share one bus and bus stop per ride. To go from one resort to another, you're best bet is to ask a driver. They will suggest if the bus you are on is a decent choice or not. Also you can look at a Disney overview map, and try and figure it out for yourself.

If Im not mistaken, theres no such thing. The thing to remember is that all resorts have bus transportaion to all the parks (besides MK resorts;which have monorail and the "Boardwalk Resorts" (Y+B,Boardwalk,Swan and Dolphin;Which have the boat to Epcot and MGM) and that resort to resort hopping must be done through a "transfer" spot, example CR to Boardwalk;Bus to DTD, Bus to Boardwalk. Hope this helps!

Oh, and also the only place to get a bus to the WWoS is from MGM, just in case you were thinking of going there.

As long as you know where you are staying, I don't think you'll have any trouble, even late at night, getting the right bus. The stops are very well-marked as to which stop serves which resort(s). I believe the transportation staff keeps a very keen eye on the bus stops, to make sure nobody misses the last batch of buses. Sometimes there may be a bit of a wait, but there will be a bus.

Resort to resort: you usually have to use an open theme park (or DTD) as a transfer point.

If you want to go to a monorail resort take your resort bus to the MK and then take the boat or monorail. Take the boat to WL.

If you want to go to an EPCOT resort take the bus your resort bus to the Disney-MGM studios (NOT EPCOT) and walk or take the boat. EPCOT would require a long walk through EPCOT and would require park admission.

If you're going late, after the theme parks are closed, you're better off taking a cab than going to DTD to transfer.

I have found a better site and it gives you ride times. Follow this link

To the OP:

You may be over-thinking the situation a little bit. Disney Transport is not like a city bus system with numbered routes and multiple stops along the route. There are no numbers, codes, or anything else to confuse you.

It's very simple, as others have said. If you're at POR and want to go to MK, go to your POR bus stop and get on a bus marked "MAGIC KINGDOM" on the front "scoreboard" of the bus. That will take you to MK. If you want to go to another resort from there, follow the signs or ask people how to get to the bus (or monorail, or boat) to that resort. As far as buses FROM the theme parks, each resort has it's own bus stop, but all the bus stops are right next to each other, so it's VERY uncomplicated.
