Where can I find Timon? Website listing character locations?

I know I've seen a website listing where to find what characters...but can't seem to find it.

Can anyone help? Where can I find Timon?

We have normally found Timon outside of Animal Kingdom in the plaza area just outside the gates in the afternoon. The past 3 trips we took he was there. As for the website I know what you are talking about but cannot find it either.

we saw timon outside animal kingdom in july.
I can't remember the website name but it closed down, not enough people helping with donaltions to help support it, i think.

Friday Night Character Meal at the Swan (Gulliver's Grill?). I'm not certain that they guarantee which Lion King characters are present, but it has been Timon and Rafiki in the past.

We were there 11/20 - 11/27 and saw Timon and Rafiki quite often in Adventureland, near the Dole Whips.

Yeaa!! That's my site! : On the website, we list where we seen characters, to help out fellow character-loving DISers.

I always thought Timon was an easy one to find. We never had problems locating him. Like DisneyWorldDad said, I seen Timon many times in Adventureland. Three weeks ago, we saw him repeatedly near the entrance/bridge to Adventureland with Louie and Rafiki. I also seen him in Town Square (the big area right after you enter Magic Kingdom), and also by the entrance to Animal Kingdom. Also seen him in MGM, by the Big Hat or possibly nowadays he could be by the MGM entrance instead. He would be the kind of character you can ask at Guest Services about, and hopefully they can tell you where he is meeting!

There are some really good character listing websites out there - I know Intercot has one, but I don't know the URL offhand. DISer Meeko had one, but last I checked his site was down.

We thought Timon was fairly easy to find on our last trip. We saw him at the entrance to Animal Kingdom, at Planet Watch and in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom.

I have seen Timon at the trailers by WWTBAMPI. Have a wonderful picture on my 9month old niece (at that time) with Timon there.

To the OP: If you are not going to Magic Kingdom, then Animal Kingdom would probably be your best bet. Though if you are going to Epcot, one time I did see Timon on the Holiday bus there. Good luck!
