I thought I read somewhere here that I can buy some kind of voucher right in the resorts -good for the day and you get a drink later also or something? I looked at the voucher info above and I am pretty certain I read about something else. Can anyone point me to the info please?

You can buy a meal voucher at AK. It's good for a meal, drink and water or ice cream later. None of the other parks offer it -- I assume it is a way to try to get people to eat at AK.

This would be news to me because I have never heard of those types of vouchers. In AK and at the water parks you can buy a meal plus voucher that is valid for that day and the only other vouchers are the ones sold through connections and Hotwire.

Thanks so much Tar heel! That is sounding like what I heard. Do you know the cost / where they are good at? I mean which resteraunts in AK?

I don't know the cost, but once you enter Animal Kingdom, they will have signs out at just about every restaurant. They are hard to miss. If you see the sign, inquire at that restaurant. You can't purchase them until the day of use, so there is no real harm in waiting until you get into the park.

I am interested in the water park deals since this trip will include a day at Typhoon Lagoon.

In AK a childs voucher is $5.99 and adult is $10.99. They cannot be purchased until the day you use them. The voucher is perforated into 3 sections. One for your meal which includes a drink , the second for a bottle of water, and the third section for an ice-cream or pop corn. I do believe they are good at all sit down locations except RFC.

At the water parks the kids voucher is $8 or $9 (Iam drawing a blank here), and includes a souvineer cup that can be used for free refills all day, a combo meal with a drink, and an ice-cream later. Adults are $16.99 and include the refillable mug, combo with drink and ice-cream later.
