Where can Giselle be found?

Is she out for meet and greets or at the Pincess fantasy faire?

Sadly, she's not a princess there. She was only around last year for the pre-parade when the movie (or the DVD release?) was being promoted, but after that was sent back to New York to work and to dance around her apartment with her family.

I made up that last part, but the dancing around the apt is my fave scene in the movie.

HAHA, she is actually dancing in my family room right now with my boys...yes they love her.

We saw her last year in the pre-parade and weren't as familiar with her as we are now. You know, when you see her on your tv almost EVERY night, you get very familiar with and fall in love with her!!

My boy loves the movie, and probably her, too. And he makes us dance around at the end.

We had NO idea we'd see the movie, let alone love it, last year, and we were just sort of "meh" during the pre-parade (isn't it funny we both were there to see it, and we both NOW like the movie?). Wish I had taken a pic of her in her poofy dress now!

Okay, seriously, the first thing I thought was that somebody was looking for Gisele who posts here a lot. Duh. She's a sweetie.

Too bad they don't have the character, though, I love that movie! Okay, I love Patrick Dempsey, too, so that helps, but... great Disney flick.

I snapped one, but it came out blurry. I wish I had a better one.

I don't know why she isn't a character there. We love the movie and her! Last time we were there, in DCA we saw Governor Ratcliffe from Pocahontas. None of us could even remember his name and almost no one was taking pics with him. If they can have characters like him walking around, why not Giselle?

Some people say it has something to do with having to pay Amy Adams for her portrayal of the character? To me that makes about as much sense as the idea that Jack Sparrow is gone b/c they had to pay the producer of POTC.

I bet it's just that they didn't think she'd be lasting.

And also that she's completely not a princess, but that certainly hasn't stopped Disney before!

Maybe they should have the other female character, the one that does become a princess, at the parks?

A CM told me that her dress is really heavy, but I don't remember how much it weighed. Good thing she's sitting down.
