With 5 people (3 kdis and 2 adults) it seams we have limited options on where we can stay onsite. Is there any way we can stay at a value resort? Or get a discount at a moderate one? We are starting think it would be much cheaper to stay off site. Can someone tell me where onsite we can stay with 5 people in one room and not spend a lot of money?

Thanks,

Jessica.

Outside of DVC, your choices are limited to most of the Deluxe resorts (excpetions are WL and now AKL). However, Port Orleans Riverside has a trundle bed in the Alligator Bayou rooms that accomodates a 5th person and the All Star Music Suites accomodate 6.

Enjoy planning!

Also, if your youngest is under 3, you can stay in any room that sleeps 4.

we usually stay at POR with the trundle bed, which is the least expensive option. You can also do 2 rooms at a value or the all stars suites or the cabins at ft. wilderness, but POr is definietly the cheapest option.

DH and I stayed in a Family Suite at All Star Music ( a value resort) last Sept. (2006)

We really enjoyed the Queen size bed, the kitchenette with the microwave, having a sofa and cushioned chair to sit on and relax after a day at the parks before retiring for the evening.

I thought the pullouts very comfortable.

They are designed so the back cushion and seat cushion of the pullout support the pullout. There is no meatle bar to hurt the sleepers back.

Have fun at Disney wherever you choose to stay!:wizard:

We are a family of five as well. On our last trip we stayed at the Dolphin and had a pretty good discount. While the Dolphin isn't Disney owned it is on property and the location is excellent. The boat to the International Gateway in Epcot can't be beat nor can the boat to MGM - both were short little rides. The proximity to Boardwalk is wonderful as well and bus service to MK was quick and uncrowded during our stay.

I would try the AS Music Family Suites. My family of 5 are enjoying our first stay there next year in December- already booked!!
