Where are you left off from a shuttle at Epcot?

I assume all the off site resorts having shuttles that drop off at Epcot have the same place where they let everyone off?

How far is it to get to Epcot from where they drop you off? Are you able to take the tram to the entrance? Are you left off somewhere obscure?

From what I have seen, the bus stops for offsite shuttles is just a little bit farther away than the regular resort buses.
