Setting up a cruise for our son's honeymoon. His fiancee was very excited to pick their excursions a few months ago, and I got up at midnight to schedule them. Was very disappointed to find the dolphin swim in Tortola is not being offered, even though it was listed on the main site for adventures in Tortola.

I see Expedia offers it, but have never booked outside of Disney for excursions and worry there is probably a reason that Disney is not choosing to offer it.

Any ideas why Disney removed it from their excursions?????

It is actually still closed. The website is not helpful, and I don't know what is up with Expedia.

From the hurricane last year? I didn't think of that since it showed up on Expedia! Thanks for the information!

Yeah. I don't know why they're still showing on Expedia, unless it's a linkage for all of their locations. It's worth noting that there's no TripAdvisor reviews after September 2017, and that their own website won't let you book any people for any date. The message says "it's full," but given that the big ships aren't back... it's probably just the easiest way to default to having it closed without editing functionality, as that form seems to be a shared resource with their other locations.

My understanding is that the animals and staff were fine, but have been moved elsewhere.

I remember hearing they actually took the dolphins somewhere else. Their dock area was completely destroyed. It may not ever come back, but I guess they must be hopeful enough to keep it on their website.

Or they don't want to spend the money to deal with it on their website. If it was developed in a certain way, it may be more complex to take of fun ham you might wish it to be.
