Now that there is a walkway between Magic Kingdom and the Grand Floridian, where are the Electrical Water Pageant floats kept during the day? They used to be stored in the little creek that leads to Seven Seas. Now there is a bridge over that creek.... Just curious... Does anyone know? TIA

They are stored in the same place as before.
The new bridge opens to allow passage of the floats to/from the inlet.

You can see the floats in their storage area when walking over the bridge too. And every time we passed, I swear there was the same heron keeping watch on a no entry sign. :D

Ah, like the "alarm birds" in the forest on Syndrome's island ('No man is an') in the Incredibles.... when the kids set off the trespassing alarms, right?

Thanks! We'll be checking that out in a few weeks... can't wait to try this walkway!

So, like from about 8:00 to 8:30 pm that bridge is closed to move the floats out? Of course they are not lit up but that would be cool to watch!

Not sure of the exact timing, but yes. Every evening.

Just a minor clarification of the information from other posters above the 14 EWP barges only deploy weather permitting. Rain, high winds and lighting impact deployment of the barges.

They have to transit to the Polynesian across Seven Seas Lagoon so are normally on the watery by 8:20 PM most evening from the canal between the GF and MK now that the EWP is back through Feb. at least.
