Where are the DELTA posts?!?!?!

I was watching "The Today Show" and they talked about US Airways possibly buying Delta when they come out of banruptcy. I couldn't watch every second of it becase I was getting ready for work and I was running late. I know they said that the only way this would really effect passengers is they would have less flights. I am confused obviously!
I need more info or opinions. We have Delta flights scheduled for Feb....
Any ideas or more news please post!!!!

There is no additional information. However, I don't see any way this would take place by Febuary.... it will take a while if it happens.

Cincinnati radio this afternoon expressed concern that Delta would pull out of the airport leaving it virtually empty.

Delta pretty much has a monopoly on the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport.

After US Airways dropped PIT as a hub, I have no doubt Cincinnati could be dropped. Quite frankly, in an era when airline realignment might take place I don't think any hub city is safe.

I'd think that since US Airways dropped PIT as a hub, that would make CVG safe after a merger (which I doubt will happen anyway). CLT would probably lose hub status though.

United is thinking about making a bid for Delta too. That's a better match-up IMHO, at least in terms of hubs.
