Hello,
Id like to know where are the best locations to see the Daily parades, Illuminations and Fireworks???

Id like to have dinner at the Rose and Crown or one of the Restaurants at Epcot good Idea ???

Any Ideas would be helpful for the best times and locations to take these happenings

Honestly...anywhere we have been when the parade is going by has been a good spot. The floats are large and and very easy to see.

Fireworks are high in the sky...so find a spot and look up...not a problem there at all.

We have been in many different spots for illuminations...all of them have been fine with great views.

As far as rose and crown...the beers are good...the food is nothing special...very bland, soggy.

Thanks for the heads up

So are you suggesting to just not eat Dinner at any place to see Illumination??

Or are there any suggestions ??? It will be Nover 8 -15 so when will the parks close since I cant see that far ahead now and need to plan alittle for the best time..

Just dont want to make a mistake and not like the food..Ya know

Thanks Big Kid

We ate the Biregarten the last time we went there and we are going back there again the food was so good. I do not think there is anyplace to eat outside there but if you are just looking for a good place to eat I would recommend that! We are going to also try Morocco this time as I have been told it is very good food and the belly danicing is great! Hope this helps!

If you can snag a seat outside at the Rose and Crown, you can watch Illuminations. I am told to get a PS for 7:30 or 8:00 and request a table outside, be willing to wait for one to open up. Also, there's a lounge in Japan that you can watch from (I think), but I've never tried that. You can also sit at the mexican fast food place (the name escapes me), but, if it's busy, you have to get there pretty early to get a good view. As for other places to view Illuminations, just make sure there are no trees blocking your view. We like just to the left of Rose and Crown, the walk way to from UK to France, in front of Morocco and Italy.

In MK, we like to watch the fireworks from the walkway to Tomorrow Land or by Dumbo. We've even watched it from Ariel's Grotto, you just don't get to see Tink fly. Places for the parade are pretty good all around. We prefer Frontier Land because those places seem to fill up last.

At MGM, I can't remember where we sat, but it was over by Drew Cary Sounds Dangerous, I think. We've also sat right near the entrance of the park.

Hope these suggestions help.

For Illuminations at Epcot we tried the Rose & Crown idea, but were unable to be seated on the patio. If you definitely want to see Illuminations, I don't think you can rely on Rose & Crown for a seat - it would have to be more of a nice bonus if it works out. Our favourite spot to watch Illuminations is in the little park behind the Fish & Chip shop in the U.K. If you get there early enough you can snag a bench - just make sure you drag it forward a few feet so that there's no chance of someone standing between you and the railings.

In MK we like to watch the parades from Frontierland - less crowded than Main Street. The spot in front of the Liberty Tree Tavern has always worked well for us.

Cheers,

I wonder if watching the MK fireworks from the Tomorrowland bridge is going to be a good site anymore. With the new show, a lot of effects occur right around the castle.

Last trip, DH and I snagged a bench across from the Norway pavillion about 7:00pm. He got us food from the Mexican place and we enjoyed just watching the folks go by. We shared our bench with some other folks and enjoyed visiting with them. The time went by fast and we had a great view. I was even able to get some good photos with my camera, something I had never done before. If you're looking for a relaxing time, any other the benches that are not blocked by trees are good.

Enjoy Illuminations! It is my favorite thing at WDW and it is the event we try to do on our last night there.

We sat right on the curb in front of Cinderella's Castle for Spectro Parade and it was great. Would have been a great view for Tink's flight , but the weather was rumbling , and she didn't fly. This however, was a terrible spot to see any fireworks!! We were right under the castle and only could hear them go off.

:D We usually get a pastry from France and watch illuminations from the bridge. It is a nice spot if you can get there early enough. But by then your pastry is gone. For some of the times we have been there, we ate outside of africa (it is between china and germany.) There are tables and chairs there and you have a nice view. Not a lot of people go there but you will want to get there early or someone will take the spots. We would usually get ice cream and watch illuminations at that spot. If you want to eat dinner I would suggest eating before and then get a little snack for illuminations.:D

I enjoy watching both the parades and the fireworks at MK from right in front of LTT. A wonderful view of the fireworks, no Tink though. As for the parades, just leaning up against the wood railing next to the walkway on the river side, or up on the platform where the pillory is.

For Epcot, R7C ppatio is great, as is the balcony at Teppanyaki. Italy area is super also.

For MGM, the section just in front of the Hall of Fame.

AK, I like by the TTBAB fastpass area.
