We've never been to Disney World but thinking about going for Christmas. My husband like to eat at buffets. lol Where do we need to start? Can't have fun without FOOD! :santa:

My husband's favorite buffet is Cape May for dinner and also he loves Biergarten in EPCOT/Germany.

We love the Biergarten. Fun show, great food, good service and lovely atmosphere.

We love breakfast buffets like Boma (the bestest!) Chef Mickeys, Cape May, Crystal Palace

THe only dinner buffets we like are Cape May Clambake and Beirgarten.....the rest are just gross and the flavor is heavy salt...total ICKfest

We really enjoy Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's & Boma breakfast buffets.

We've found that we don't care for dinner buffets in WDW, so we avoid them.

You can't go wrong with the Crystal Palace for breakfast. I have yet to try a lunch/dinner buffet at WDW, but will be trying them this trip.

We love Biergarten and Boma for dinner. (I have to confess that our first trip to Boma was a big disappointment, but we decided to try it again and we LOVED it this time!)

We also really enjoy Chef Mickey's! The atmosphere is wonderful and very Disney, with the monorail gliding overhead and the Fab 5 characters visiting your table. We have had luck with the food, too, though it isn't exotic in any way,and gets mostly bad reviews. Go for dinner on the early side, we've had luck with fresher looking and tasting food when we go for the earliest seating.

Love, love, love Tusker House for Breakfast. We are also one of the rare families who liked Chef Mickeys for dinner. I would compare it with Hometown Buffet but with characters and as we don't mind Hometowns food once in awhile because the kids like it we liked Chef Mickeys and thought the addition of the characters made it worth it. I really want to try Boma and Cape May for both breakfast and dinner, possibly Biergarten too although I am worried my daughter and I who only eat a little fish and otherwise stick to vegitarian may have problems with the selection there. I also want to try Askerhaus as it seems like the best of both worlds, cold buffet and entrees (or all you can eat platter at breafast) brought to the table. Plus Askerhaus has princesses.

We always hit Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's for dinner. The food is good and we really like the dishes.

We didn't like Boma. Everything was to sweet, made with cinnamon and such. Even the meat was rubbed with it. But if you are a sweet tooth, may be the place for you.

While Ohana isn't a buffet it is all you care to eat family style meal. It is very good.
There isn't a menu, everyone gets the same thing.

Salad and pinapple bread to start, followed by broccolli and asian noodles. Oh yeah almost forgot the sticky wings with 3 different sauces....very good. The meats are on skewers, beef, chicken or turkey (can never remember which one it is now that they changed it), pork and peel and eat shrimp.
All of which you can eat as much of. But I suggest saving room for dessert because they have the best bread pudding with carmel sauce.....Mmmm Mmmm.

We haven't done actually done many buffets at Disney before, but after looking through the reviews and trying to find things that would suit us, we have picked quite a few for our trip! Here we go...

1900 Park Fare Cinderella Dinner (we had to do a character meal just for the experience, and this one seemed to be pretty good for both adults and kids!)
Cape May Clambake (just sounds so tasty, and we had to try something to eat in the Boardwalk area)
Boma (just to try something a bit different)
Liberty Tree Tavern thanksgiving dinner (ok, not a buffet exactly, but it is a all-you-can-eat family style meal and being foreigners we thought having a thanksgiving meal might be a nice American cultural thing to do :))
Biergarten, since the entertainment sounded good for the last night of the trip
