Can you bring strollers inside counter service restaurants and resort food courts? My dd hates those wooden highchairs that are typically found in restaurants but I know she will have to use them at our character meals but I am hoping to keep her in the stroller at resort food court and counter service restaurants.

I almost always take our stroller into food courts and counter service restaurants. There is plenty of room. I just make sure to push it as far out of the way as posisble. Also, since I tend to travel solo with DD, her in the stoller is the only way I can handle the trays and her.

As for character meals, you might ask when you check in about the stroller. Depending on DD's age, crowd at restaraunt, space available, etc, they may let you bring the stroller into some restaurants.

I don't know how old your DD is... but, have you considered a portable booster seat. We bought one at Target that folds up like a little briefcase (you could stash it in the stroller basket and take it out when needed). It was a nylon fabric and the seat inflated with a bit of air when opened. It has a child safety strap and additional straps to secure it to a seat.
