Where are strollers allowed (and where are they not?)

You are lucky, because I pleaded with the woman at the door to let me bring mine in to change my 3 month old twins. She wouldn't let me, and I explained I could not carry them both and all their gear that I needed. She said once I got in their there would be people to help me, but I still couldn't get them in there myself, so I was basically screwed. I understand that strollers take up space, but this was really inconvenient.

I can't believe they wouldn't let you in after explaining your situation! The baby care centers are spacious and there is plenty of room to park a stroller for a few minutes. (well maybe not at MK, but still) There was a man working at the one at epcot when I needed to go in with my stroller, you would think that a woman of all people would be understanding. A little magic lost.

Like another poster stated, I always bring two bags. One with stuff that is not 'valuable' (change of clothes, diapers, etc) and a small one with the camera, video camera, etc. We bring the small one on rides and leave the other one in the stroller.

One thing I didn't see mentioned is that strollers are not allowed in the pavillions in epcot either. So, if you will be spending a lot of time in a pavillion, you may want to bring your diaper bag in also.

I have used them many times to change my twins, it is very convenient since my stroller will not fit in a regular restroom.

You must have one honking large double stroller for it not to fit through the double wide doorless openings of the regular bathrooms to get to the diaper changing table. A stroller too big to fit in the regular bathrooms would be too big to take into any building on WDW property. How inconvenient!

It is pretty big, but my kids are comfortable.

I have found the companion restrooms much easier for me, when I have my stroller and other son with me. (And, as someone else pointed out on another thread, I actually meant too big for a stall.)

It was at MK, so maybe that is why. It was our first day, so I never tried at any of the other parks...maybe I could have. Next time we go the twins will be walking, so I should be able to use them. :thumbsup2

I don't know if it was the norm or not, but I was allowed to bring my single Baby Jogger stroller into the one at AK. Then again it was also at park closing and there was no one else in the place other than a few CM's. The AK was more roomy as a whole than the MK one though. I have only been in the AK baby center that one time and I just remember going into a large room to change the baby. In the MK, it is more narrow with smaller rooms and not as stroller friendly.

:scared1: Does this mean that you can not have the stroller as you go around to the different countries?

No, you can push the stroller around the lagoon. Its just that when you want to actually go IN somewhere, you have to leave the stroller outside.

The thing that annoys me most about the stroller is how the CM's will sometimes rearrange the stroller parking. I left the damn thing here, and now its 3 rows back and 30 feet down because some CM decided that the stroller parking needed rearranging. THe worst was when I parked my stroller by several dozen others (by the merry go round in MK Fantasyland) and came out to find them all gone. I was "OMG someone stole my stroller" until I found it on the other side of the path by Philharmagic.

I've always taken my stroller in the pavilions, even my double stroller. A CM even showed me where the ramp was to get into the Mexican pavilion. No problems in Germany, Italy or Japan either. Once again, must depend on the day/CMs. :confused3

You can't take a stroller into THE LAND at Epcot (where Soaring is). My poor hubby on one of our earlier trips- we got to Epcot and one of my sons immediately fell asleep in the stroller. The rest of us wanted to ride Spaceship Earth so DH took our tickets to get Fastpasses for Soaring, and of course took the stroller with our sleeping son in it. I had totally forgotten that he could not take the stroller in there! Lesson learned.

Yes, I forgot, we were told we could not take a stroller in the Land. We were able to take it in the Seas, though (but we had to enter from the Gift Shop).

Too big for a stall - now that makes more sense to me, thanks for clarifying. Wow, you are brave, going to WDW with 3 kids all by yourself!
