:confused3 So DF asked the question a few days ago and I have no idea thought you guys could help!! ... Are the annual passes just good for where you get married... ie all the disney world parks or are they good for disneyland .. etc??

If you get married at WDW, the APs are good for admission to the 4 major theme parks. PAPs are good for admission to them, plus DQ, the 2 waterparks, and PI (until they replace it, I guess).
APs are not interchangeable between WDW and DL. Two different tickets altogether.

can I ask what PAPs are?

so do the APs you get in the wedding package not allow you into the water parks too?

PAP - premium annual pass - I think :confused3

No, the annual pass you recieve as a disney bride does not allow you entry to the waterparks only, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood studios and EPCOT.

Linz xxx :)

if you upgrade to a premium.. you have access to the the water parks and Disney quest, and the wide world of sports. Also, you have pleasure island.. until they tear it down. Then Disney is adding Shades Of Green (golfing:confused3 ) TO take the place of pleasure island..

Otherwise you DFTW annual pass is good at all four parks in WDW!
(liek everyone else said!)

Thank you

nice - another expense to add to the list. Good old disney:rolleyes1

Shades of Green is the Military Hotel. I heard they were adding more restaurants to replace Pleasure Island. :confused3 They need to just tell us!

Thanks guys!! Shades of Green has the PGA golf courses that are part of the property that they play part of the tours on so it's gorgeous... That is where we stay mostly!

I have heard that the free APs they give you for the wedding have a $0 value so you have to pay the full price of a Premium Annual Pass if you upgrade them, but this was a while ago.

Perhaps someone with more recent experience will come along and let us know....

Quick question - With APs, we can add the Disney Dining Experience aka Tables in Wonderland experience and get the discount correct?

I think I read it was $65 per person. Please let me know because I was planning to do this!

Yes! We bought our DDE/Tables in Wonderland :crazy2: card at Downtown Disney using our AP vouchers. They tried to tell us we needed active passes to do it, but I set 'em straight! :lmao: It was $65 for one card, which is good for up to 10 people. So we only needed one card.

According to my calculations [insert Prof. Frink smiley here] the breakeven point for making your money back on the card is when you've spent $300 on dining. :thumbsup2

Good stuff Lurkyloo! Ok, will this work out for me then?

I'd like to get the DDE for the use of our Rehearsal Dinner at Poly (Df & I both get one for a total of 20)

And also use it for the Post-wedding Breakfast for our family the day after at Chef Mickeys

And use it for our own dining during our trip?

What do you think, could I do that

This is what the ticket center at Disney told me when I asked them. I called last week and spoke to a few different people, but this was the official add on in place of PI for PAP's.. because I think, originally we were just going to get money back.. but now they added golf so we can't do that..

They are adding more restaraunts and shopping to replace PI "per request"of Disney guests.. yea right! Anyways.. that wouldn't require admission.. so they had to think of something else that would...

What does the DDE give you? Is it a discount on all disney dining?! I'm not sure if we get the annual passes because were an Escapes wedding. Would be cool if we did seeing as weve lost ours because our travel agent went bust. Do the AP's let you into DTD too?

Yes you get the annual passes with an escape wedding. The DDE card or whatever they're calling it now gives you 20% off dining at disney restaurants for up to 10 people however they do add on a 18% tip regardless of your party size. There is no admission fee for DTD unless you are going into any of the clubs at PI (only a few days left for there), or Disney Quest, LaNouba etc.

But, keep in mind the DDE (tables in wonderland) doesn't give you the discount at every restaraunt.. make sure you check before you book!
