As a first time visitor to Disneyland I have noticed the beginning of October schedule is extremely light on the show front, for anyone who has gone in October in the past are shows cancelled or added closer to the dates?

Shows I would like to see are Aladdin and of course the new mad t party, this may be too new to know about but are they outright not running? Any info would be helpful

Already see limited showings for woc and fantastic and can work around that

It's typical for DLR to post park hours and major shows (WoC, F!) when they first post them, then fill in the full entertainment schedule later. I wouldn't worry too much as yet, I'm sure they are cooking up something special. :stir:

We go during October most years, and we've never had a problem seeing the shows we want. Aladdin should still run 4-5 times per day, as will things like Disney Junior Live on Stage and Turtle Talk. So it should probably be OK.

The hardest ones are Fantastmic and the Disneyland fireworks, but they are pretty easy to hit if you stay over a weekend. I think you'll be fine!

Have a great trip!

like KateDrake said, they will have them all running on weekends but during the week they wont show F! or Mad Tea Party...you may get MTP on a friday night but for sure on Sat. and Sun...Tuesdays and Fridays, the entire month of Oct. are dedicated to Halloween Parties that you have to have a special tix for so you wont see F! or fireworks those days. They will have WOC during the week but probably running only one show...Aladdin will run regardless of the time of year it is and parade will probably run once a day as well:goodvibes

Thank you all this is extremely helpful and yes booked over a weekend so should be able to catch everything and have booked in for the Halloween party on Halloween night, any idea when the show schedules get posted?

Usually about 30 days out, so it should be quite soon.
