Where and when

Our next big trip is this summer. Adventures by Disney's DVC exclusive river cruise on the Danube which will hit Hungary, Austria, Slovakia and Germany with a post ABD add-on in Prague. We created our own pre-trip stay in Ireland. Really looking forward to it! This will be our first river cruise and first time in those countries!
Will you do a trip report??? I would love to hear about your adventures! :)

South of the Smoky Mountains for the annual MINIs On The Dragon, in May. A week-long MINI Cooper celebration. This will be my 11th time.

We're staying in a cabin at Tropical Palms Resort. It's not super convenient for SW - probably about 12 miles down I4 - but we've stayed there twice & know the lay of the land (it's REAL convenient for WDW). Plus, we get a full kitchen and 2 private bedrooms. Got an Orbitz deal for $57 per night. Better than what we paid in 2012 ($586 for 8 nights), not as good as last year ($393 for 8 nights).

Awesome deal!! I think we're paying a little over $100 per night.

I haven't purchased Sea World tickets yet. Online a one day pass is $79. For two days it's $99. For the same $99 I can get an unlimited pass good until the end of 2016. Decisions, decisions. I should check out Undercover Tourist or other third party sites to see what's available.

It's a "working" vacation.

DD18 and I will be at Disney July 17th thru the 23rd for Nexstar Dance Nationals.

So, while we are visiting, it's mainly for her to dance - 1 tap trio, 1 small lyrical ensemble, 1 lyrical solo, 1 tap production number, and 1 jazz and tap production number - so we will be spending more time at the Convention Center, then actually in the parks.

None planned (we went to the beach for a week this past summer and we typically only go on vacations every couple of yeats), but I'm hoping that maybe we can go to Disney this fall.

As my BFF says "you are happiest when planning a trip"...........so we take lots of vacations, some long, some short but there are always multiple trips being planned in my mind along with extensive research online! We just came home from a 5 day "long weekend" trip to Geneseo NY, Buffalo NY (1 night each) then 2 nights in Niagara Falls, NY! Next up, she comes to my house in April but we only have day trips planned. May - Lancaster PA, July- Tupper Lake, NY, September or October TBD but leaning towards Nasville/Pigeon Forge TN, November or December Lancaster PA then January is our yearly cruise. THEN I start planning all over again for 2017.

AZ/UT road trip in May(fingers crossed)...finally getting to see the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley. Lucky DS gets to go right back in August for a CO/UT (Moab) trip.

Grand Canyon/Monument Valley/Page/Bryce and Zion in June!
we are doing the same in May, but don't have time for Bryce and Zion :(..super excited for what we CAN do though! Hoping to go back next year for a Moab Mighty 5 trip, and then hitting Estes Park on the return to dullsville Illinois

Just got back from a mom/daughter trip to DC (cherry blossoms were starting to bloom!). Semi work trip in July to Skamania Lodge(near Portland) in July (annual meeting but company is doing it different this year-only 1/2 day meetings with planned outings/options for afternoons for 4 days). Planning a cruise for Christmas 2017 with hopefully a few days at Universal tacked on.

We leave June 9 for an 18 day trip in France. Planning on going to Paris, Disneyland of course, Colmar/Strasbourg, Mont St. Michel and Normandy area, Marseilles and taking a train for the day to London. It's to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary!
