We're spending 4 days, 5 nights at Disney. It's going to be my fiancée and myself on our "honeymoon". My sister and her husband and their 2 kids are also going. Me and my fiancée would like to do some dining alone and some with the family. We got the deluxe dinning plan so we could try some of the 2 credit restaurants. Any suggestions on places to try?

V&A, Narcoossee's, Yachtsman and Flying Fish are all excellent restaurants for honeymooners.

Narcoosee's was very nice when we went on Deluxe. We also enjoyed Yachsman (can't go wrong being at the Yacht Club at night - romantic), Artist Point and Le Cellier. :thumbsup2

I love Jiko, it's my absolute favorite restaurant on property. Flying Fish, Artist Point, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and Narcoossee's are great too. Narcoossee's is probably the most "honeymoon" type place on my list. AP and FF are livelier atmospheres but great food. Jiko is excellent all-around, IMO, but not everyone likes the menu.

I also really liked California Grill but I haven't been there since the remodel and new menu.

Two of our favorites are Artist Point at the WL and Yachtsman Steakhouse at the YC.

Jiko fits the bill. Great food, great service, and the atmosphere is quieter and more intimate than some of the other places like Cali Grill and Narcoossee's which tend to be noisier, IME. Also with Jiko, you can add a stop at Victoria Fall's lounge, sit by the fire pit, and walk around viewing the animals which stretches the experience into an entire "date-night" vs. just a "date-dinner".

My three favorite restaurants on Disney property are:

Flying Fish Cafe - I love the whimsical atmosphere and love sitting at the "chefs counter" I recommend starting with the Mussels and the calamari, then get the Snapper and the NY Strip with a side of the AMAZING truffle mac and cheese! Then finish with the banana napoleon its outstanding!

California Grill - The views are incredible and for me there is NOTHING more romantic that sitting at your window table next to your significant other watching wishes! I love the Sushi, Filet, and Banana Fritters!

Jiko - I think this is the most upscale restaurant besides Victoria and Alberts on WDW property, absolutely beautiful and romantic, All of the apps are fantastic my favorite is the Wild Boar Tenderloin though, then the Filet with the Mac and Cheese :) I love tea so I like to finish with a nice Chia Tea and they have an excellent flour less chocolate cake :thumbsup2

I would suggest going to these later in the evening for a more adult atmosphere try and make reservations around 8:00 :) good luck and have a great trip!

You should be aware that you will find plenty of kids at any of the places mentioned---but as mentioned the later you go the more adult it might be.

The fewest kids at any WDW operated restaurant seem to be at Citricos.

Unfortunately, the best "adult dining" restaurants are at the Swan/Dolphin and not on the DDP.
