Depends on how busy & or interesting page 1 is that day. sometimes it is fun to revive old threads and randomly click on page 8. but I do usually hit page 1 & 2

I tend to go back a few pages because I don't make it on daily and I like to read what I missed - scan to see if anything juicy is flaring up

If I'm planning to post, I read the whole thread (see my signature ). But if I'm just reading - i.e. if the thread isn't holding my interest - I don't usually get past the first page.

I try to read through all of it, just so I don't repeat something that's already been said, (unless it's a post asking for individual opinions, then it doesn't really matter) but if there's like a million pages, I usually only go through a few of them.

If I'm planning to post on someone elses thread I usually try to read through all of the posts but, sometimes there are so many pages that I kind of skim through the posts after the first couple of pages.

Depends on how long/interesting the thread is. If I'm interested and it's about four pages long, I'll read. Longer than that and I usually just read the first few pages, but if I'm planning on posting I'll read the first few and last few.
