When you take a cold medicine like Nyquil

I can't take Nyquil because it works for about three hours before I wake up with my heart racing and the room spinning.

No, I usually wake up on the bathroom floor 'cause that's where I took the Nyquil.

But seriously, that stuff puts me into a coma.

That's because it has an antihistamine, Doxylamine succinate , in it. It helps dry up your runny nose, and unfortunately, your mouth.

Yes. Wide awake too, the kind where you can't get back to sleep. It also maked my scalp tingle .

It puts me out like a light for about two hours, and then I wake up, dry mouth and absolutely drenched in sweat. So I don't even bother. I will just suffer.

i will take dayquil at night b/c of the dreams......

It puts me in a coma also. Although the next morning I feel dried out, as well as slightly hung over.

Out Cold till morning, no dry mouth that I can recall. But when I have to take Nyquil to go to sleep I usually am so sick I don't notice a dry mouth.

No thanks, I've never had a hangover, but I'm thinkin' that must be what it's like...

Well I dont know because the few times i tried to take that stuff I thought I was dieing .I have never felt that before it made my heart go crazy and made my head tingle and there was not sleeping for me i could not go to sleep for anything.
So never again will I take anything but Plain Robitussin,if that dont help then I go to the Dr and get antibiotics.I cannot put myself through such torture.

Nyquil puts me out for a good night's sleep. I don't notice anything when I take a shot of that stuff! LOL
