When you rent the carriage, how long do you get it for?

I was thinking about it today and thought I'd ask - when you rent Cinderella's coach or the horse drawn carriage how long do you have it for? Does it take you just to your ceremony? Also from ceremony to reception? Around for a stoll to enjoy the expreience?

we looked into getting the carriage when we planned our wedding and we were told that you only have it for 90 minutes. we were also told that you can rent it just to take pictures, not to ride it, but it was for the same price as well.

I had the carriage. I think they say 90 minutes because of the ceremony time & photos. You don't get to go for a stroll or anything. It will take you from the GF to the WP before the ceremony. It waits for you while the ceremony is taking place. We had photos afterwards. THen it took me & DH back to the GF for our intimate reception.

Does anyone know anything of the Boat ride to take you from your ceremony at the WP to the Yaught Club or Boardwalk??

I saw it in someone's Wedding Video and I can't quite remember who it was . . .they took the boat to the ADH.

You can't go by boat from WP to the YC because the waterways don't connect. I checked on it because I thought it would be a cool way to get there, no such luck.

I have to admit, this is the first time I'm feeling sticker shock. $2500 for 90 minutes?! Will it only go from the GF to the WP? None of the other hotels or ceremony locations?

Wow... Maybe I'll drop that and look into splurging on a character instead...

Ember - that was my thought also. I could more easily justify $1k for two characters for 30 minutes than a $2,500 carriage ride. I'm still not completely sold on the characters, but I am sure that I'm not having the carriage!

I am not positive about this, but I think the carriage will go to whichever place your ceremony is. I know I saw in some of the pics there was a bride that got married at Sea Breeze Point and had the carriage--now, I don't know which resorts it will pick up from???

The will take the carriage into Epcot as well. I just can't justify the cost.

I think the carriage is beautiful, and I too would love it, but at $2500 for such a short amount of time, nah, there are so many other things to spend $2500 on.
If it were a $1000 then yes, maybe, but that could be spending money for a week at Disney.

FYI Just Merry charges $1100 for 2hours minimum @ $550/hr increment. not the same type as FTW's but it does the job lol.

I know the carriage will only go a couple of locations. It won't go to all of the locations. It sounds like a lot of money, and it is, however, if you have the extra money, it is truly an experience to make you feel like Cinderella. I had people taking pictures and gathered around the carriage that I didn't even know ! There were about 50 people standing around outside the GF watching & taking pics. It was amazing. I had little girls waving at me like I was actually a princess. I cannot even describe how this experience makes you feel. For me, it was the carriage and not the mice.
