When you load your dishwasher

I "sometimes" rinse..depends on whats on them. But mostly I load them as I use them (or at the end of the day) and start the load on my way to bed. Then I always swear I will unload in the AM, but its more likely to get done if A) I need something outta there or B) I need to load more dishes LOL. I do at least one load a day.

Oh, my gosh!!!! This is so freaky - I almost started a thread today about people I really liked who hadn't been here in a long time - and here you are!!!!!! Hope you are doing well, and your sweet girls are too!!! And that your dishes are clean!!!!

LOL! We are doing good..I have been busy getting auctions ready for ebay and haven't had a chance to come "visit" like I want to. Oh and the dishes will be clean in the morning LOL.

I am a RINSER...I just have to rinse all the food off of my dishes.

I cannot stand the thought of random food particles on the bottom of my
dishwasher.

All my knifes have to be business side UP.

BUT I will say, I always always put my dishes in "WILLY NILLY"!!

And it gets better.......ahhhh......I wipe down and out my dishwasher after I have emptied it.

A bunch os the replies "speak" to me. I rinse lightly and only under running water. I have never ever washed a dish that has sat in a sink filled with water and soap. My mom is totally anal about the way the dishwasher is loaded and her dishes are washed first. I put everything but the dogs,my hubby and kids in the dishwasher.

The only thing I rinse is bowls that had oatmeal in it. I do scrape chunks off. I have to load the cups/glasses a special way. If you don't put a heavier glass next to a kiddie cup the kiddie cup will flip over and fill with water.

I do not wash my dishes before I put them into the dishwasher. I see no point in that. If they don't come out clean, I just leave them in there for a 2nd run through.

I do believe that is called "washing the dishes" I wouldn't bother with a dishwasher if I was ambitious enough to do that.

I could have sworn the dishwasher was connected to the garbage disposal, or maybe it is just the drain I am thinking of? At any rate, I figure all that stuff goes to exactly the same place and the dishwasher = less work for moi!
