when you go to other amusement parks...

My family loves our local amusement park. Its a nostalgic old park thats been around since the 1900's.

Kennywood

The kids truely look forward to our trips there during the summer as much as our yearly trips to WDW.

Love Kennywood!! We spent a day there on our way to Maryland, 2 summers ago! What a fun park!

As far as Indiana...our family LOVES Holiday World!! Free parking, free soft drinks, and free sunscreen!! Very clean park...with a fabulous water park! My kids can't get enough. The only think we compare is the fact that we spend days at Disney and only 1 or 2 at Holiday World. My girls asked if we can spend a week, there, sometime...

Sorry..I hadn't read all of the replies..and just noticed that others love Holiday World, as much as we do!

The trend that I notice is that everyone seems to love family owned, smaller parks...and it's hit or miss on the big "Six Flags".

I forgot to mention that we took my niece and nephew to Kings Island in Cincinnati last year, and frankly, I was embarrassed. It seemed dirty, some of the rides were under repair for the DAY, and the food was expensive. Guess Disney and Holiday World/Kennywood has spoiled us

We enjoy other Amusement parks.... but Six Flags really is lacking in my opion. In just this past year we've done Hershey Park, Dorney Park, Sesame Place and Busch Gardens.

Six Flags just isn't on our 'to do' list anymore. It's very disappointing anymore (we did go for years though)

I haven't done Six Flags in over 10 years. We've done Hershey, Dorney and Sesame Place. Dorney we were not impressed with at all. We had fun but doubt we'll be going back. Sesame Place - kind of the same thing.

Hershey is our next favorite to Disney. It's a beautiful park and there is alot to do. We're going back in a couple weeks - 5th time in 5 years.

Dh and I did Busch Gardens Williamsburg 10 years ago and loved it, we were going to go back this year but don't have the time we want to head down there. So we're thinking maybe in the spring.
