do you let them wash your hair, or do you just let ask them to wet it and cut it?

how can you so to a salon and not have them wash your hair? it feels sooooo goood!

dont it feel so good to have strangers playing with your hair :bounce:

I would lobve to be able to afford to have someone do my hair every day! Having them wash my hair is WONDERFUL :)

I just go to the cheap mall places so they just wet my hair. I just had all my hair cut off today. (great clips had a coupon for $4.99)

I rarely let them wash my hair. I consider it a reward to myself or a pick me up when I'm feeling blue.:)

I know, I'm weird.;)

i let them wash my hair, cut it then i go home and cry for hours about what they did to my hair and why they cut so much. that's been my routine for years and will never change!

It's a treat to have my hair washed. I usually have my hair colored at the same time, so they have to wash my hair.

Years ago I used to go to a small salon where I would just have them wet my hair down and then cut it. My hair was really short at the time and I really didn't care to pay a ton of money to have it trimmed.

Now I go to a larger, very popular salon and day spa
They do a wonderful job, never cutting your hair more than what you've stated.
And yes they wash your hair. It's never a question they just wash it.
And boy does it feel wonderful!!! :)
I was just there this past weekend getting all my hair cut off and they gave me a deep conditioning treatment for free.
I had about 10 inches cut off!!!!!

I cut it at home myself, once a week. Closest setting on the old clippers and buzz it all off! Nothing to wash but scalp!

My hairdresser has magic fingers....I almost fall asleep every time she washes it! Let them do it all dye, wash, cut, style....the last time I died my hair it came out eggplant and cost $$$$ to fix!

'Fraid it's going to strip off that beautiful red henna rinse?:)

Shampoo...always. :)

I usually go el-cheapo. I go to the quick places and they just wet it down and cut. Have to say that I have always been happy with the results, so why stop a good thing!:D

LOL! Ethel, it's funny you said that. I got my hair cut today (well, trimmed:p ) and I let them wash my hair. When I got home, I swore it looked redder than it normally does.:o Do you think they henna rinsed me.:teeth:

I have to have my hair washed, even at the cheapie places because I've always got mousse and/or hairspray in my hair that has to be washed out before they begin. :o It's no big deal tho.

Whatever do you mean...it's NATURALLY red, remember?:)

I usually just have them wet it, then I come home and wash it myself. I hate all the prickly hairs that cling to me after I get my hair cut, so I usually plan to go home, shower and change clothes. I will admit that they do a wonderful job of massaging my scalp when I do let them wash it.

I get my hair cut every 6 to 8 weeks and every time it's wash, cut and dry. Next time I'm adding high light to the list ;) .
