A long time ago I read about these "when you are tall enough cards" they will give out to a child if they are not big enough to go on the ride. They are not the baby swap passes, but are used similarly. They are actual cards with disney characters on them. Do they still hand these out?

Thanks.

Yep!:thumbsup2

DS just got one last weekend for Indiana Jones. Not sure on the other rides since he was tall enough for all of those. Indiana Jones was a Lion King card.

California Screamin' has one too.

The back says:
"Uncle Donald says he'll take us on California Screamin' as soon as we're tall enough. You should come too! And be sure to bring this card back with you!"

Ds got one for Indy too, and the coolest thing was what the CM told him when he handed it over. He told us to bring it back with us when ds is tall enough, and the card will act as a FP for the entire family!:thumbsup2 How cool is that?

That is so cool! I take it that it's something unique to DL? Never seen this in Florida.

That's awesome! My DS tried three days in a row to get on Soarin' (he drank a lot of milk so he'd grow and insisted he needed to see each day if he was any taller) and all he ever got was a "no, you're too short." :(

People have said they've gotten them at WDW, too.

But not all CMs have them, or carry them, or care to slow things down to give them out.

DS has gotten them for two rides; Star Tours and Grizzly.

With Star Tours it acted not just as a FP (there is no FP there of course), but as a front of line pass, which was amazing...they sent us through a door in the side of the building, we went up the stairs and we were inside the boarding area. Amazing.

With Grizzly, we've actually only been there once when it was busy enough for FPs, so the FP line AND single rider line were both closed...so we didn't have to use them at all.

With ST the date he rode was marked and we got it back. With GRR they didn't mark anything, but I did, and both are in our scrapbook. :)

Yep! I actually have two of these from Mulholland, which my two boys are FINALLY tall enough for, and have both ridden and LOVE. I will be bringing those cards the next two times we go to DCA.

They essentially function as Fastpasses and are good for up to six people.
