My DW and I will are planning on taking our kids (DD 7, DD 5) to WDW next year. We are looking at two possible weeks when our kids are off school next year here in Montreal. (1) February 24 - March 3 (2) April 21 - 29. We plan on staying on site, hopefully at the POLY.
From what I have read and researched on-line, it looks like both weeks tend to be on the relatively "quieter" side in terms of attendance (?). We are leaning quite strongly to heading in late April as we the weather will most likely be warmer in the afternoon and evenings. As we plan to try to head back to the resort each day around noon to relax and swim by the pool (before heading back out to the parks later on), we just figured that the weather in late April would likely be more condusive for that. I also know first hand that nights in that part of Florida can potentially be a bit on the cool side in late February which did not seem as appealing as late April. We also plan to check out a water park or two and just assumed that April would most likely be better.
Having said all that, we still would love to hear the opinions or experiences of others who may have been at one, or both of these times of year.
