When would you book?

I am starting to plan a disney trip for Dec. 2006 and I have a couple of questions;

1. When and how do I find out when events are planned (Mickeys Very Merry Christmas)

2. When should I book

I would book one year ahead of time if I knew my dates and what resort I wanted. I feel if you book too early you may change your mind several times and making changes to your ressie can get confusing.

You have plenty of time to do all your research and enjoy all this site has to offer.

We are also planning on going in December!!! I will probably book late spring/ early summer. I dont book until I have my airline tickets bought. At this point we will split between POR & BC!
