I am wondering when we will receive the Navigator for Day 1: I read somewhere that we can get in while we are waiting to get on board in the terminal but someone has said that it is put in your own stateroom.

I am thinking if we can get it while we waiting to board the ship, at least we can find out our dinning rotation and can think carefully which day we want to give up for Palo. Any clues?

Usually you'll get the first days Navigator once you check in at the terminal.....your dining rotation will be on your KTTW card and you'll also get that once you check in......Andy

I think a bit better detail is needed- Yes, you will get your first navigator when you check in at port. The rest of the daily ones will be in your stateroom when you return from Dinner.

Now about your dining rotation, yes, it is on your key to the world card that you will recieve when you check in. On the right hand middle of the card it'll have a code like this:

S1-PATP.

'S1' means seating rotation 1, or, early seating.

The rest of the letters are the first initial of each dining room in the order you will attend.

Here's a peek at one, mind that the background on yours will be different, this one was for a special cruise back in February.

Speaking of detail......the PTAP that you see on the card is for the Wonder Dining rooms which are "Parrot Cay, Tritions, and Animator's Palate" and on the Magic will also be PC and AP with Lumieres being where Tritons is located on the Wonder......

:yo-yo: Since we were on the land and sea :boat: package the Navagator and are dining we in our room when we arrivedon the first day.

Hey Mark, out of curiosity, do you know how often they change the pictures on the KTTW cards? It's a bit of a dumb question, but I once saw a card with plain old Mickey on it, while I had Tinkerbell this past weekend. Just wondering.....

I think they are doing Tink right now, as it is her 50th anniversary year celebration. We had Tink on our KTTW cards in May at the resorts as well.

That's a good question - how often do they change the card picture? Annually, or a different interval?

The KTTW cards have been mostly universal to both the resorts and the cruise line. I don't think the cruise line has had more than a few different ones; mostly the purple ones with a logo on the corner, either Mickey or 2000. With the exception of the DVC 'ss member cruise' one that I pictured above. They all now use the Blue ones with Tinkerbell on them. I do memory picture frames out of that stuff from our trips, and have them all the way back to when the resorts had individual ones with the resort logos on them. The three cards with the key on them were actually for when we were there on the original Grand Plan, an all inclusive plan to stay at WDW. All the KTTW cards are down the middle in the picture below.

Love that memory picture frame. Do you glue everything down? That is a great idea. Thanks for sharing!

It's double sided sticky tape on black construction paper. Got the frame from the local craft store.

Now, I realized I didn't directly answer the question as well - it seems the cards change with new promotions happening- they had the just plain purple Mickey ones for a good while before they went to the blue ones.

Hmm...very cool. I love the memory frame you made! It reminds me a little of the Walt Disney World frame my friend Gretchen used to have...every time we went to WDW she would take a picture of herself holding her gate ticket in front of the castle; after 20 years, she had quite a few photos ;) She took them all, along with the original tickets (AMAZING how much they've changed over the years!!) and framed them with a lovely frame from Michael's.

Other than my Tinkerbell and Mickey Mouse KTTW cards, I haven't personally seen a WDW ticket in years...I always get those plain ol' front of the gate white passes with names on them instead :P

But I do love the frame Mark...terrific idea!
