When Will We Get The SCOOP on the New "Dreams" Promo???

The website mydisneyparks has a lot of info and also in this forum somewhere is a thread titled 'Disney Dreams' and a lot of people have some info on there. Good luck with the contest I already registered. :thumbsup2

Unfortunatley it was with info we already knew. Here is a clip of the e-mail the TA sent back to me:

I checked with Disney, and the details are as follows: The Year long
Celebration does begin on October 1st of 06, the details are a little
sketchy as of right now. They will be doing random drawings for What
Dreams come true and as far as I know, you are just part of the drawing
when you book your trip.

Bummer :guilty: I was really hoping she could have found out more. She did confirm that there is some sort of free dining thing going though:

As for the dining package, the minimum stay is 3 nights. However, the
last day you can start your trip for this special is on Sep 30, and your
reservations must be made by August 18th. So we were misinformed on
that November date.

So that is good for those of you going in September. I'm going to go mope now in the 100+ degree heat here in Minnesota. Maybe I'll read yet another WDW travel guide. :guilty:

Any details we get is better then nothing......
But, October 1st isn't really that far away, so anytime now !!
I am waiting, waiting anxiously!!

Disney sure knows how to Promote things......See the Buzz they have created already, those darn marketing people !!! pixiedust: pixiedust:

Okay, I have questions:
(1) I'm a TA and the booking for free dining has already ended, so what's the August 18 date? I haven't heard anything about it coming out again, have you? :confused3 Please enlighten me! ;) :teeth:

ETA: okay I see an August 18 date for the September room only discounts, I guess that's what you're talking about - not free dining.

(2) 100 in Minnesota? Wow! I thought we were the only "lucky" ones having this kind of heat! :faint: (no, I haven't been watching the news lately  )

Funny thing is, they aren't even really promoting the new celebration yet on the disney travel agents site - just pirates and cruises.

Just to let you all know - Oklahoma is suppose to have a high of 103 today! 105 by Friday. Under an extreme heat danger. I WISH I was at Disney!! Can't wait for the new Celebration!

Got this info from my AllEarsNet newsletter:
