When will we get "real" cards?

Right now we have the paper cards, and I made ressies with that. Our guide called on Valentine's day to tell us we'd closed and would get our member welcome packet soon. How soon? What else will we get? I can't wait for those official cards! Oops, do we get 1 card or 2?

I'd like to know the answer to this too... we purchased BCV, so will we have to wait until after the closing on June 1 for our permanent cards?

On January 3, 2001, we bought points at VWL while we were visiting HH and got the permanent cards yesterday. There were no unusual delays in our closing that I know of.

It took 20 days after our signing to receive our plastic cards. We(DH and I) purchased 300pts but in 2 separate contracts (150pts ea) - we each received a plastic card.

I am wondering too, but I am guessing it may come with the deed package. I got the letter yesterday in the mail saying the deed was recorded on Feb 6th and we would recieve the deed within 90 days.

I know the temporary card I have says it is good until May9th.

But I am still looking forward to having the deed in my grubby little hands! and the regular membership cards as well.

I bought at VWL through Disney and I had the paper cards for about 2 months before I got the "real" one. It didn't come with anything else, just a letter from DVC and the 2 cards for me and my s/o.
