when will WDW raise their ticket prices?

Do you think WDW will raise their ticket prices before the end of January?

I have been told in the past that the prices go up effective Jan 1st. I do not know how true this is, but I do remember pricing tickets in Dec and bought them before our trip in Feb and there was a small difference in price.

some tickets going up in the beginning of the year, and APs maybe going up in the fall. I could be wrong, but I remember kicking myself for not buying the tickets earlier for our fall trip, as they had gone up right before. Someone please correct me if I have it backwards....
Just wanted to mentipn that if you have a DC card or a Disney Visa, you would benefit by purchasing your tickets before Christmas. Disney Visa has triple points through 12/24, and DC gives about 15. off per AP till 12/31. Not sure about the discounts on other tickets.

There's no way of knowing when they will raise prices. If you can figure out a pattern to their price increases, please share it with us. Over the past decade, Disney raised prices in the following months:

January - twice
February - once
March - once
April - once
May - once
June - once
September - three times
October - once
November - once
December - once

The total adds up to more that ten since some years there were no price increases and some years there were two.

Could they go up in January. Sure they could. Is it likely? Who knows? Ask us in February.
