My DF is taking our first Cruise. Actually this will we our first real vacation. I booked the 7 night western last Oct. for 12/6/03, about 1 week later I had a nightmare that I was running late at work and had to race to the airport so I wouldn't miss my flight. I finally got there and couldn't find parking. Once I found a parking spot, I forgot to go home and get the rest of the family!! I knew I wouldn't have time to get them so I tried calling my dh to tell him to pack and come to the airport, but he wasn't home!!! Than I woke up. I had another dream last night that we were on the boat heading to one of our excusions and I went to get my swimming suit and discovered that I for got the luggage at home!!!! When will it end!! Any one else? I would be interested in hearing about your nightmares.

Oh, man...lots of nightmares...from being late to the ship and watching it sail away...forgetting our luggage and the only thing we have is our daybag we carried on with us.

They stopped about 2 weeks before we sailed...I guess I knew I was ready to go then.

Oh, don't forget the nightmares about someone in the family falling overboard and you looking helplessly down.

And just the other night I had a weird one where we were all on the ship, but for some reason ds got off and was playing in a grassy area by the ship and I had gotten off and was standing on a concrete pillar thing surrounded by water. The ship started to sail, ds was able to leap across water and made it onboard, but I was stuck on the bouy thingy! No one could hear me screaming over the music from the sail away party!

The nightmares always stop when I'm actually ON the ship, so I'm looking into getting my doctor to prescribe Disney cruises for me and I'm hoping that my insurance company will pay!

our nightmare involved that dreaded illness where the entire cruise got cancelled!

Im hoping that nightmare ends when we step onboard the ship Nov 8th!

It's in the past. Let it go. Please.

I have the same one every cruise, we arrive at the port and NO PASSPORTS or BIRTH CERT.!!! I have been on 12 cruises (5 DCL's) and I have never left home without either so go figure. Kathy

I am so glad to hear someone else admit to having this nightmare! I have had dreams and visions of this happening to my DDs, even to the point of imagining what I would do to save them! LOL It made me rethink my desire to get a Category 6 stateroom for our first family cruise... for about 30 seconds!

That's why they make Xanex!
My sister has to take one before every cruise :hyper:

Never had a nightmare about a cruise, but I did wake my son up a few years ago and he was angry! He told me that he was sitting on the verandah about to take a bite of pizza!

Maybe for him, that was his "nightmare" - he didn't get his bite!
