There might be some things up around Veteren's Day (Nov. 11). That's my birthday and i think I remember in the past when I've gone around that time that you can see a few decorations around.

May/June 2009 will be my first trip to DL and I was hoping to buy some Disney Christmas decorations. Can some please tell me if they are available in the Disneyland stores all year round?

Yes you should find some throughout different stores in the park.
